I never came to CE until last year. I used to primarily hang out on the main PlayStation board. I only came here because site traffic had gotten so slow that the main system boards for PlayStation and Nintendo had slowed down so much I wanted something with more activity so I came here.

Id go back to mainly hanging out on the PS5 and Switch board.

I use reddit more often but no specific board. I have an account on a spin-off of a shutdown spin-off of a certain board here, and I was going there for a little bit but honestly... I've never felt like I really belonged there or here or anywhere, but over there it's just particularly more toxic so I left. Don't know if I'd go back, but *maybe*.

I got a permaban from reddit long ago and their fingerprinting is good enough that future accounts are wiped within days, so thats off the table except for read only.

No, this is the only board I visit anymore. I'd probably just leave the site.

I do the majority of my posting on game boards so it would barely affect me.

I come to this site for games, not socializing.

I don't have a backup board but I feel if something like this happened and Random Insanity wasn't nuked then everyone would migrate there >_>

What'd you do?

It was a combination of a few things I think. OG account got a permaban for trolling a far right subreddit of my country (trolling there means not being a literal neonazi), calling a fundamentalist religious asshole a fascist fuck when they said theyd lynch people like me when people like them would finally make the rules in my country and telling the mods to fuck off if they condone behavior like that but would ban people for ungraceful conduct when they defend themselves. Made multiple accounts after that but they get sniped hard. Telling the mods to go fuck themselves isnt the best idea on reddit. Not looking for a place to argue with people who want me dead anymore but reddit is one of the better places to share and talk about art, and not being able to post there is kind of annoying. You can ask for forgiveness with your OG account you got banned with but imagine groveling for those dudes.

NGG was where I spent a majority of my time but then it went to Politics and now I'm on CE a majority of the time. It's like the only board with any actual traction of people discussing stuff / shit posting. NGG is too salty these days (all days)

Discord. I'm in some servers with groups of CE people that I enjoy talking with.

This was my backup, I'd probably just leave at that point.
