Since this last day went so quickly--and by my count handsomeboy puts us at 302 and my paranoid "but what if the best song was nomination 302 and cutting things off at exactly 300 means I'll never hear it?!?" makes me inclined to include those two extra songs--I'll let anyone with nominations left add up to two additional songs for the next... 48 hours, we'll say?

...I probably shouldn't, but even if everyone takes me up on the offer, it's still not much more than 300 songs and it's fairest to everyone else. Or... fair-ish, at least.

I didn't notice Snake got there before me. If you want to keep it at 300 I'm okay with not counting those 2 songs.

Odd. I'm wondering if it's just blocked on cell phones then? Tried it on Chrome & Firefox and I'm not getting anything; if I request the desktop site then it starts to load, but fairly quickly removes itself with a generic "video is unavailable" message.

Is there any chance you could narrow that down to two for the main ranking and then I could go over the rest at the annual post ranking? Since we hit 300, I'm trying to keep it to two extra songs per person because I really can't manage a 400+ song topic these days--trying to limit the time I spend typing each day to avoid hurting my wrists means *not* doing the full 8 hour shifts like I was pulling last topic... trust me, I want to, but it's not really viable at the schedule I want to maintain.

(Technically speaking, since most people aren't using their bonus nominations, there is room for more than two each... but it wouldn't exactly be fair to everyone else unless I remove the limit for everyone and this could spiral out of control pretty quickly if I did that.)

...hmm... I like doing things in blocks of 10... I don't suppose I could con--err, persuade--anyone who hasn't used their two bonus songs to throw literally anything onto the list to get us to 330? Nah, I suppose I shouldn't be greedy. Still, if anyone else -does- have a last minute addition, consider things open until we either hit 330 or I get done with my first round of listening.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: 111/326 songs have preliminary scores. I... *may* have started listening to some as soon as the topic opened because I have no patience. </.<

Rankings should start shortly after I take my second trip through the list, as I like giiving the final listen just before actually eliminating something; I'll post periodic updates on progress. Aiming for anywhere from 5 to 10 songs getting scores per day, so still a ways off, but decent progress so far.

129 songs in, have definitely been taking it easier these past few days.

130; I had to watch the first half of Mystery Wrestling to support Mansoor and finishing my Rank the Tracks ranking took longer than anticipated, so I just got one song done in the morning. I was originally hoping to have the first draft done before April 1st, but I don't think that's a viable goal after so many partial days... ah well, it was never a super serious goal anyway.

Also, I apparently dreamed that NBIceman nominated a set of Street Fighter songs. I recall him nominating Indestructible, Ken's Theme from the 3DO version of SSF2T, and two other SF songs but that obviously did not happen in this universe. Probably just as well, I've never quite understood the popularity of the 3DO soundtrack anyway.
