Well however you want to spin it, the point was speaking to a larger conversation with respect to fighting misinformation and ignorance about trans people. Its common for some people to throw their hat into topics about trans people while they are not educated about us, our bodies, our healthcare, and what it means for the issues and how we approach them.

And hey, I understand they dont teach anything about us in public schools because the subject is taboo. So theres a lot of people still learning or operating on bad informations that give way to malformed opinions, which can be harmful. Misgendering us, subpar treatment in healthcare settings, policies and laws, etc.

Clarity is still very important, and there's a lot of people who are misinformed and/or just don't understand but aren't transphobes.

Well I wouldn't call it misinformation, it's more about understanding the context and what is actually being conveyed. HRT doesn't change or re-write your DNA in such a way that you become an alien creature for example, but the context is gene expression and how the DNA is expressed. This in parlance can be seen as a change to DNA, so it's more about what do we mean when we say change.

Imagine wanting to lock people up because they disagree with your political views though
