A lot of them were good quality films as well.

Some films that I enjoyed were a Carnival of Souls, which is an old skool psychological horror film, Terror, an old British horror film, Heatwave, some French arthousey film, Castle in the Sky, which is the first film that Studio Ghibli did, The 4bidden Fables, a really strange horror anthology film, VHS 2, another horror anthology film, and The Uninvited, a horror film with a very clever twist.

How many films have you seen this year? Arthouse or mainstream? Which was your favourite film?

I'm up to 116 but I'm way behind my usual pace. Been playing way more video games this year and just busy with life stuff. I'll pick up the pace soon though.

I watch a lot of random stuff.
For older movies there is really no rhyme or reason to what I watch. A few years ago I only watched thrillers, last year I only watched stuff from the 90s. Usually its just a random movie I come across on IMDB.

For newer movies I usually default to three categories
  • any new horror movie
  • big popular movies
  • movies likely to be nominated for Oscars.

ive watched a lot more since the strikes started tho
