I dont mean on PotD, I mean anyone at all on Earth. It has to be some kind of like money laundering scheme or something right? Advertising on YouTube for years and years, yet I dont know anyone that has ever played it, and I know a lot of people that play gatcha trash.

Same with clash of clans. All the people on those ads talk as if everyone is playing it. But I dont know anyone who is

I have. And I know a couple of others who have. Though, one guy (on PotD) hasnt been around for a while And I know a few in real life Its not bad But I dont like the character limit

I saw someone stream it as sponsored content, but not sure on anyone just playing it for free.

There's a content creator that I enjoy that plays it along with OSRS and Path of Exile. He legitimately enjoys it apparently.

jontron advertising for it from a dumpster is one of the only times i didn't skip one of those ads.

i know a few people that play clash of clans, but i've never met anyone that plays raid.

I only really put time into two mobile games

Character limit?

I played it awhile but I didn't use/get one of the startup pack things, just played it straight, and that really bites you in the but eventually, some of the free heroes you get are really strong. It got boring eventually anyway, and your progress really slows down.

You can only hold a certain amount of characters. Which is fine. But I remember that number not being high at all Like high for the amount of characters there are. So, youre constantly having to get rid of characters Even in other games with limits, I can either keep raising the limits. Or at the very least, get enough space to hold one of each character Though, because of how you upgrade characters, I would need to be able to hold a bunch of extra characters just to upgrade other characters to be good for other characters Other than that, its not bad But, yeah

I played Evony: The King's Return since it came out around 2016. The ads that run for that game show off maybe 5% of the actual game that was patched in sometime around 2020 to try and attract more people to it. The other 95% is literally resource management, city building, and attacking other players/monsters.

Yeah. A ton of games have been doing stuff like that. But a bunch are trying to at least add the part from the ad you see in the game. But it ends up being like a very small percentage of the actual game. For the Evony one, you can also only play the ad game a certain number of times per like day or something

Tbf, at least they let you do that. Some ads are completely different

I really don't get how those kind of ads are not considered false advertisement.

Most of them are. But I guess if it has some of what the ad shows (even if its only a very small part), it counts Thats what I think, at least But I guess it could be a number of different things or reasons

I played it when it first came out. It was a decent mobile game, but I got bored of it. Like majority of mobile games, it's more just sit and watch it play itself than you playing it. There's quite a few people at my job that are into mobile games like Raid and Clash of Clans.

I played it for one afternoon. It's standard mobile game shit where the intro phase is buttery smooth until you hit some hard walls that require you to either wait days farming shit or pay money
