hinagiku (another version): This is pretty cool. Love the irregular rhythms, and the vocal effects/harmonizations are really enjoyable to listen to. Honestly sounds like something Bjrk would make. Very neat song.

Rock Club: This is a fun Anamanaguchi song. Fun melody and the synth bit at the end of the loop is cool. Good song, but I think I appreciate and enjoy the avant-garde nature of hinagiku more.

Chain of Pain: Long intro, but once it gets going, it's got the coolest synths. Lots of little details in the mix that give it a lot more depth. It does feel a bit long relative to the amount of stuff it does, but it's still a great song.

Soy Sauce for Geese: Most old fighting game music doesn't really grab me much, and this one's no exception. It just kinda exists, and the melody isn't good enough to make up for the dated sound. Okay song.

Fullmetal Fighter: This is another song that kinda just exists and doesn't do much for me. Same concept with the melody and sound as above.

Turning Point: Not one of my favorite Notam songs, but it's still got the chill 90's vibe and production that I appreciate. Great song.

hinagiku does some stuff I'm not that into. Rock Club sure does sound like a Scott Pilgrim song, but at least it's a different one.

Even before looking at the composer I could tell this was a Nekomata Master song. Not one of the best, but not bad at all. Geese sure does feel like a classic fighting game song.

Fullmetal's pretty fun. I don't care for Turning Point, which kinda reminds me of an FFX song (Challenge?) but not as good.

It pains me to vote against hinagiku. That's a special song with a comfy home in my "Music That Fills Me Up" playlist. Rock Club is great too though, just pure melodic, chippy adrenaline. What a rude match.

hinagiku is one of those songs that makes me go wtf is this when i first listened but then it kind of unfolds the vocals aren't the sort i go to, but they work well with this piece. this feels so spacey and floaty. kinda wish it had a stronger end, but that's it really.

when it was another winter's day i said that it would be nice if other scott pilgrim songs got love too. i forgot this was nominated let alone made the bracket! the shift shortly after the one minute mark is fantastic, really makes it for me.

the use of the emergency alert (?) or whatever it is at the intro it feels very moody. i love that moodiness. when this goes full rhythm game, it loses me just a teensy bit for a moment. i think i just really liked the moody feel at the beginning!! i do like how this one doesn't stay in one place. it isn't nonstop edge and excitement. that piano portion before it builds up again is really nice .

soy sauce for geese is such a funny title for a villain theme, and geese is such a funny name for a villain. is he a man or multiple geese pretending to be a man? are these things less funny if i have played fatal fury? today we will investigate anyway, ive loved the motif of his theme for quite a while, but there's definitely versions i prefer more.

i think ill always prefer moodier genesis music this isn't bad but there's a few moments where it kind of feels a little too much "noise" to me.

DUDE I LOVE THE FUNNI HOT AIR BALLOON GAME!! the intro is so spacey. liftoff for your funni little hot air balloon. but then you get slapped by that beat! i love how like, even when it's busy, it still feels so airy to me so floaty. oh and those vocal samples are so cool too!! i love this soundtrack so much. it's so amazing ..
