Oh lord, I remember when they just stopped after 10 episodes because it got progressively worse and never getting around to watching the final episodes.

The new season of Dr. Stone has started! Huzzah, love this show so much.

I also saw that something called Pole Princess is a thing? And the 3D style looks HORRIBLE? LOL

I was sort of interested in this when it was first announced, but I never bothered to watch it. MAL says it's finished airing now, so I might check it out.

Yuri is My Job premiered today and it only took one episode for me to genuinely hate basically the entire cast. Even one of the girls being voiced by Yukari Tamura may not be enough to salvage the show for me. They're all just annoying c-words.

I find that yuri series tend to fall into one of two categories. Sugar moe vomit rainbows, or All Aboard the C*** Express.

I tend to start wars whenever I state my Fate anime opinions, so I will just say try to get ahold of Fate/Extra on the PSP/Vita for the real story.

Meanwhile Yuusha Ga Shinda is saving anime, one knee-sock at a time.

And now I've watched Yuri. Wew, this is gonna be spicyyyyy.

The first episode of Magical Destroyers was as crazy as I expected, so between that and Birdie Wing, Fridays are going to be wild this season. Thankfully, I also have the adorable and comfy Too Cute Crisis to use as a cooldown show after those two.

It's not quite "underground theater fight club run by a talking giraffe" levels of plot twist, but "theater girl stops time with THE WORLD during her audition" is a pretty darn good hook in itself. World Dai Star is definitely one to watch out for this season as a possible surprise gem.

Already dropped Alice Gear Aegis (huge disappointment) but thankfully I immediately found another Monday show to replace it.

I don't know what else you'd call a first episode that's 1 hour and 22 minutes long. But as weird as it sounds, I think it was the right decision given the way it set up the story going forward and where it left off.

So far the first couple episodes have been far more serious than standard pokemon, like an extended movie. If the whole series is like this, it would be quite nice.

The hype after episode 1 has been off the charts, I'm fully expecting some complaints about it being overhyped and dull once it gets going.

The only thing that disappointed me about Oshi no Ko ep 1 was That ai's design was absolutely god tier and I'm sad it's gone/wasted now...

There's a lot of good stuff on HiDive even here in Germany. I have two subscriptions (HiDive and Crunchyroll) and only one of those I'm actually happy about paying for lol

Also yeah, OnK da GOAT. Though I wish the English localisation went with My*Star like the German one does, it's just a neater name imo

I love how "Captain Planet but with magical girls" and "Men In Black but with buff sentai heroes" are both things that not only exist, but are airing on the same day so I can enjoy them back to back. God, I fucking love how stupid anime can be sometimes.

It was the last show I was interested in to start this season (aside from shows where I'm waiting for the dub like Dr. Stone and Demon Slayer) but Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts proved to be worth the wait with a very nice first episode.
