OH FUCK I didn't see a new Chameleos coming(heh). According to the site they've overcome the affliction so I guess they're like 4U's Apexes in that sense. Layered Weapons is a few months late but better late than never I guess. Now I can finally make Valstrax's horrid looking IG and use literally any other Dragon design.

Doubtful if not 100% deconfirmed. The Roadmap changed so now it's just the three Monsters and Layered Weapons for September.

Same, though this does give me time to get some of the optimal weapons ready for layering.

Edit: Watching the stream rather than the trailer now and it seems we only get one additional weapon augment slot for weapons, but they did show off the Attack augment going up to 3(which costs all 6 slots). Also when they got to the layered weapon parts it stated "and almost all weapons up to Ver.12 are available for forging" which sounds disappointing. I'm hoping they just mean the colored Rampage weapons and no other designs but I guess we'll see later this month.

Anyone up for playing tonight? Kinda bored rn(even though I have 3 demo's to play) and I wanted to finish up the non-Fire/Poison weapons I don't have crafted. Plus I gotta craft the meta weapons I didn't use for fashion reasons and get their augments ready for TU2.

Finally trying Wire Step with Adrenaline Rush. Seems fun. Built the Scorned Magna SA to function as my new Raw SA.

It's cool that Wire Step works with Adrenaline Rush, Status Trigger, and Bladescale Hone. I used to use the Rampage SA with a Para phial when playing with friends pre-Sunbreak, but I haven't gotten around to making a new Para SA set with the new dodge stuff.

Sure wish SnS' backstep worked with any of them :/

This ever go on sale yet? Wanted to wait until it was like 20-25 max before committing. I have too much to play as is but I'll jump in if it gets that low at some point.

Vanilla Rise, Sunbreak, and the Rise+Sunbreak edition are all on sale right now for Switch actually. It doesn't seem like the Rise+Sunbreak edition on Steam has ever gone on sale unless I'm missing something. Vanilla Rise has been half off on Steam in the past though.

I wanted to farm random Afflicted stuff to prepare for TU2, but I didn't realize how many weapons I had that weren't finished getting augmented. I started to run out of A1 materials like regular hide/bones, then one of the Dire items, and then Afflicted Dragon Blood. Getting what I need also isn't that efficient for that accursed 3K coins award. I'm not even sure I'll be able to finish that this year.

Also ugh been having garbage luck in my solo baggi hunts with spawns and monster A.I.

The other monsters pile in crazy fast and make a mess. The other week I clowned him a bunch with basically no interference.

I was just a few mins again wailing on a toppled G Baggi when Khezu jumped on my ass from offscreen.

Tetra joined in like 20 seconds later.

Just freshly augmented my Almudron Mail X....first roll was chain crit +1 and a 1 slot. Only negative was -1 ice res.

I don't remember what's on that chest piece(I'm guessing it's still SA stuff), but nice. Also are you still playing this morning by any chance? I could get on for a bit if so.

Just a couple more days till Flamingo Espinas. They posted a tweet recently showing how the layered weapons will only need those MR Outfit Vouchers and some MR materials, so that's pretty convenient. I'm kinda swimming in that stuff at this point and there are a LOT of weapons I use.

Just repeatedly abusing level 100 Wroggi with Ice LBG for quick sub 5 min prime essences.

Getting constant 100-200 damage ticks on every hit of every shot is beautiful.

Tonight should be time for Title Update 2. Their updates always seem to be late at night CST going into the next day, since I guess it would be the next day already in JST by then. I wonder how afflicted Rajang's gonna work and if he could still go SSJ while exhausted, like how afflicted Lunagaron's ice phase can still persist through exhaustion.

I would be amazed if neither Flaming/Violet are BIS Fire weapons.

Just did seething bazel with a dereliction bowgun set.

It melts him but damn is it stressful. Those Bombs hit 1 trillion sqaure light years each and is pretty much insta death if caught in them.

I still haven't fought Seething Bazel since the urgent quest you get for him. They really made the Raths and Lucent Narga worth farming. Not so much poor Bazel.
