I knew it was strong because I use it on my blue scroll for every LS set I have, but holy shit it has a MV of 250. That's pretty close to TCS(Power) and I'm not sure what else comes close in terms of single hits, aside from maybe a fully charged Wyvern Ammo shot.

I finally got to research level 120. It probably would've gone faster if I only grinded the Diablos/Seething quest but that's boring. Also I've got enough of the level 111+ Afflicted materials to max one weapon but I have no idea what to pick. It might be GS since it's the one weapon besides GL(I can't even fit anything here with the one extra augment slot we got for TU2) that I only have one set for.

We get a million Fire Monsters and still no decent Spread Fire Bow. Magmadron's missing its last charge level entirely, Rathalos' last charge goes down to Spread Lvl 3, and Rathian's missing Power Coatings. I don't even need good stats here come on Capcom.

Afflicted Rajang uuurgh.

Decided to try longsword on him and with how wide LS attacks are its really irritating when his arms are hard. Very easy to accidentally hit his arms with some of your Sacred Sheathe combo and lose half+ your damage.

Got my bloodblight and Frenzy vaccines and they are whipping my ass :(

You need to attack living creatures to get your health back and overcome the blight and frenzy.

It's not specific though..... It can be ANY living creature.

I really want my next shot already but I don't think I'm eligible. I already managed to dodge Covid once this year when both my parents got it. Bonus points: My dad got the Flu the same week he got Covid.

In Monster Hunter news I still need to farm the TU2 Monsters some more because I want to make everything new. I need enough Risen Chameleos Gems for the whole set and the Haze jewels, which is like 9 I think? I'm unsure if anything else needs it.

Well it's by the Toukiden(A MH clone afaik) devs so I expect it to be close enough to that in gameplay, but there's so much building shit in what they've shown that it's hard for me to tell. Seeing EA on it is almost an immediate don't-buy from me but I need more gameplay or to get my hands on it to make a more educated opinion on it.

I never tried any MH clones or MH-adjacent games(Dauntless, Toukiden, God Eater), but if any of my MH-playing friends on Steam or PS5 got this I'd maybe consider it.

I love this game.

Lol those shots are great. You should use them as the photos in your Hunter's Notes. Though you would probably need to center some of them a little more to get both you and the monster in there. Still, it'd be a funny little monster encyclopedia.

I hadn't considered them having a 4th tier of materials. I was pretty bummed out that the A6 Monsters also had two tiers of materials since they were new and all. Now that we're at 3 for the pre-TU1 Monsters it's getting to be too much for even me, and I've played a LOT. Though I do look forward to our eventual Kushala/Teostra blessing gems for next month's Risen Elder Dragon(s).

I've stopped using multiple weapons at this point and have just been dedicating my time solely to Switchaxe. It's a bit too much of a hassle at this point to really keep up with making sets for other weapons. There's too much stuff to grind for. And now with Qurio Crafting you potentially even need to make multiple pieces of the same armor.

Anyone gonna be up for playing tomorrow morning? Like probably before noon CST. I'll be awake and probably grinding something since I haven't played like all week.

TIL Eruption Cannon affects element too. I don't really wanna play Slaplance any more in MH, but maybe I'll try it in Sunbreak one of these days.

Splosions are the way.

Only filthy heretics play slaplance.

Starting with TU3 we'll be able to level quests down which is kinda nice for the lower tier materials. It really sucked that the moment they hit level 101 we would go to 2nd and 3rd tier rewards for the previous Monsters. I do need to spend my 3K coins for the award still, but buying the Afflicted materials was just a feelsbad for me.

When do afflicted materials even show up in the shop? I have not seen them at all yet. So I assume it's at an Anomaly level somewhere past 100.
