Dead Cells is on Game Pass for at least console. I didn't see PC listed. I saw "cloud enabled" which I forget is the phrase they use to mean that it can be played on mobile via cloud gaming.

I also have a spare Steam key for Everhood if someone who is both interested in the game and will be a concerted effort to go through it.

Hm, I generally don't like roguelikes so won't play Dead Cells.

I may end up trying Everhood. I thought it was a rockband/guitar hero-esque game, but saw a video on Steam and it doesn't appear to be. KCF I may take you up on that key IF no one else wants it.

Detroit I would like to play, but don't have a Playstation..

Downloaded the update for Detroit, Everhood has been downloaded for months or even a year, and I'm debating if I want to re-download Dead Cells. I play quite a few roguelikes, but I rarely beat them. I generally play them until fun becomes a chore.

I should probably also get back to Breach.

Up through level 5-2 of Klonoa. The difficulty curve is really good. Earlier levels were easier but they've long since gotten fairly hard.

Beat Klonoa: Door to Phantomile last week but didn't post about it.

Good game, but the puzzle-platformer elements are a bit undercooked and underutilitzed. (though, I can't really remember much specifically about the GBA games in terms of level design or story or what have you but the mechanics make more sense there). Also the wind bullet's range feels a bit too short.

doubt if I'd have time to try to finish into the breach unless I play on easy or something when I get home from work today.

Actually, I'm playing the original version (since I bought the psn version in the past). Though it might just be one of those things where it feels shorter than it actually is because the screen area is naturally larger than the gba version.

Anyway managed to find some time to beat Into the Breach, although it was a quick and dirty 2 island victory on easy.

KCF has beaten Into the Breach

I was honestly just going to wait until September to beat it, but Crispy's confidence that they would finish it if played on easy in the wee hours of the night made me believe that I could maybe pull it off as well!

I resumed my first save, and I was one turn away from victory. I just totally blew it on that last mission. I really should have been highlighting every enemy attack just to see how much damage they would do to a building/me. I ended up losing the power grid on the final batch of enemy attacks when I was down to my last mech (or maybe I had two, but I definitely did not have a full squad).

Better understanding the mechanics and what to look out for, I...lowered it to easy and crushed a two-island victory lol. This is a great game and a more impressively designed game than FTL. I will definitely be going back to this.

I definitely made sure to protect the power grid at all costs, and would reduce battle XP chances by placing my mechs on respawns and taking the damage and healing when given the opportunity. I was fortunate that I ended up finding two permanent pilots through the pods, so I had a better pilot lineup by the end, and I invested heavily in health and movement skills/powerups. The artillery I think has 2 base health, and I ended up with 6 or 8, with the other two having just as much or more. This allowed me to place my mechs in positions to where I didn't need to juggle their health in addition to short and long-term goals.
