Diablo 2
League of Legends

Those are definitely top 2. After that it becomes really hard to tiebreak.

Halo 2 - Wasted the majority of my later High School years on this. But the sittings were probably 2-3 hours a pop, even though there were a ton of them.
Civilization 4 - Lots of marathon games completed in a sitting or two. Dozens of games that took 10-20 hours of real time each.
Warcraft 3 - Played a lot of multiplayer here. I know I had around 500 games in multiplayer. Hundreds of games at 20-30 minutes each.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper - Been playing off and on, mostly on, for 6 years. Not a lot of time per day but it adds up.
Lufia 2 - I've played SO many Ancient Cave runs in this-- I had a save file that had every blue chest item in the game as well as all the Iris Treasures.

It's probably Record Keeper the more I think about it.

Guild Wars 2, WoW and Diablo 2. Probably followed by a bunch of FPS games and then something like Clash Royale lol

Actually Gran Tursimo 5 is prob my number 1 but a big portion of that was afk.

I have some B8 members as Pokemon GO friends and plenty of them are level 40 or above
And yet barely anyone mentioned Pokemon GO

Do we just underestimate the amount of time we play it because it's just "a few minutes per day", mostly while doing other things, or what?

I'm guessing something like
EverQuest - 4000 hours
Blade & Soul - 2500 hours
Melee - 2500 hours

And yet for genre it might be single player RPG. Might depend on how you count Diablo II.

If I had to guess:

1. Dead by Daylight
2. The Sims 4
3. GTAV

Fire Emblem three houses- like 900 hours
Fire Emblem Awakening- like 600 hours

Maybe Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow. I played it every day in high school during study hall when I finished homework. (I had two study halls in a row my senior year so I got bored)
Maybe Birthright/Conquest/Revelations too.
Or Xenoblade Chronicles 2. probably at least 300 on this one.

For any one single game, probably Melee.
