Were on pace for one good game (and one interesting one) this entire weekend.

I always get so excited for wildcard weekend and it always disappoints. Luckily I feel like next week is always one of the best weekends in sports every year.

I hate you wildcard weekend. Remind me not to believe in you again next year.

tbh the NFL expanded the playoffs to seven teams per conference to "have more excitement" and it's only had the opposite effect.

Let's go over the games this weekend:
Traitors/Bungles: Pretty fun.
Bills/Cheatriots: Thoroughly enjoyable if you hate Belicheat, but very one-note.
Eagles/Bradys: Boring.
49ers/Cowboys: Game of the week, no contest.
Steelers/Chiefs: Boring blowout.
Cards/Rams: Boring blowout.

The true goal is of course more $$$$ but it may not pay off long-term if over half the games continue to be this boring.... provided people remember, which they probably won't.

I really, really want to pick the Rams but I can't shake the feeling it's me trying to wish it into existence. Rams tonight make it more tempting but evil will find a way I just feel it.

It's hard to gauge the Rams given their opponent had a QB that made Big Ben look competent.

burrow may never lose again

I already have to deal with my wife rooting for the Bengals this weekend because Burrow is an LSU boy

but the Titans can continue to be the "nobody believes in us" team as the 1 seed, I'm cool with that

of course the Titans have never won a game as the 1 seed and now we're facing another AFC North team

Is Henry not coming back? That's the only reason I could see the Bengals being a favorite in that game.

Yeah, Henry is back AFAIK which gives me some pause but Burrow has made me a believer... for a round at least.

Hey, I wouldn't mind being wrong here! Really my doubt comes more from it being Henry's first game back. I'm never super comfortable on players being completely themselves that first game.

If Henry is 100% though then yeah probably Titans tbqh. I feel like this is the game I'm most likely to switch on by the time the Divisional topic comes up but we'll see.

I want the Bucs to win and the Rams not having two safetys makes me feel good about Gronk feasting on their soul, but it will depend on if Wirfs is good to go.

Bucs open as 3 point favorite against the Rams. Packers line has already moved up to 5.5 and the Chiefs line has actually gone down to 2.

also it looks like Dan Quinn is the front runner for the Broncos job so if the Cowboys want to keep him just fire McCarthy and promote Quinn imhotbqh
