The reason the CEman fantasizes so much about vigilantism is because he knows that he would never be able to do it if he was in the same situation.

Could potentially exclude via fingerprinting/DNA, but given the time frame involved, it would be very unlikely to recover anything of remote value.

Sexual assault, rape, and sex trafficking is a massive problem. Thousands and thousands of these cases happen, most going unreported.

Presumably the majority of these victims have dads. There is, however, no massive wave of dads going around killed sex predators on record.

So either there are thousands of dadgilantes operating in complete secret or the vast majority of people would never do anything like this and everyone here is just macho posturing.

I dunno. Kind of sounds like an accident to me..
He was moving some bricks. Tripped, fell and the bricks hit the guy in the head. Then while trying to help him, he accidentally stabbed him with a knife he was using to cut his steak... The trunk was open and while carrying the guy, he accidentally dropped him in the trunk, the trunk closed and he couldn't open it. He tried to rush to a hospital but got lost. The car ran out of gas so he pulled it over and left to get gas.. He's old so he had a senior moment and forgot all about the car.
Accidental. Not guilty.

Its like they think they will appeal more to liberal women if they act like this, or just have lost their moral compass. I get not supporting death penalties without due process. And then he didn't need to dump the body somewhere remote enough that it was only discovered a year later. That's also not justified. That's called removal and concealment of a body, and that's a misdemeanor.

No it's still murder. If he'd harmed him in the course of rescuing his daughter it's one thing, but he went miles beyond that.

The most worrying thing in this thread is how quick people are to assume the whole story must be true, and to attack anyone even wondering if it might not be. I hope those people are never on a jury.
