I somehow keep getting chocolate on my bed. Whenever I have chocolate and am in my bed I somehow always end up rolling over on it or something and it melts and one time a guy came over to fix my bedroom window when I wasn't there and my mom let him in the room and there was a big ol chocolate spot on the bed and I'm sure he saw it he had to have I have a problem.

Oh and you don't have to post this part but my mom said she's glad to hear that you're doing better in life and stuff.

Also same. It doesn't help that it's not just one chocolate spot, it's dozens of little crumbs that have now melted into the sheets and it looks so nasty. I sadly had to ban myself from eating most foods on my bed because I cannot trust myself to keep crumbs out of the goddamn sheets. Well, i say that while eating a piece of cake on my bed with the laptop

Story time:

Been working at my current job for almost 2 years now. Me and my manager have always gotten along really well together, and me and her became really close friends. There was always a lot of joke flirting and banter between us, but she's married, and she would make those flirty jokes to me even when her husband was around so I assumed there was nothing serious about it. Fast forward to about 2 months ago: me, her, and a couple of other friends of ours went to a big weekend long event together. We had a lot of fun, bonded a lot, it was great. Then the last night of the event, the rest of our friends had all left, we both got really drunk, and while dancing together at an after-party we ended up making out, and also confessed to each other that we both really genuinely liked each other and had legit feelings for each other, and had for a very long time. It was genuinely one of the best nights of my life.

However, again: She's married. Also she's my manager. Also she's several years older than me (I'm mid 20s, she's early 30s) >_>

I should have done the smart thing and ended things after that; but I also genuinely like her and care for her a lot, so for the past 2 months I've been having a full blown affair with a married woman. They don't have any kids together or anything, so it's not like I'm completely wrecking a household or anything, but I do still know that this is pretty shitty of me. But I also don't wanna stop seeing her, as I haven't felt this way about someone in years. We have a ton of similar interests, get along great and make each other laugh a ton, and she's also absolutely beautiful.

Not really looking for advice or anything so much as I just needed to get this off my chest. I obviously haven't been able to talk to anyone about this IRL. I know that eventually this is gonna explode in my face, but I also kinda don't care, and plan on continuing this unless she herself ever decides to end it.

TL;DR: I'm having an affair with my married manager who's 9 year older than me. Whoops.

It sounds like more than just an affair. You write like you're falling in love with her. But you know the risks, it seems like being with her now is worth the inevitable heartbreak

More people need to be okay with it tbh. I'm lucky in that I have thin blonde legs hairs, so they're mostly invisible. But others have dark thick hair and get bullied relentlessly for it until they're shamed into shaving

Personally, I don't really care about stuff like that. I'm not going to hold anyone to expectations that I myself will not follow so the argument "if you aren't shaving, neither am I..." kinda... holds a point. I can't really argue with that.

I don't see why it's such a big deal in the first place anyway. The all natural look may be a bit unusual but I can appreciate and enjoy it.

Affair Guy again. Honestly, you're right; I think I am falling in love with her. Which honestly makes things even harder, but also better? It's definitely not just physical for me, and I don't think it is for her either. We've only actually had sex together a handful of times; we make out whenever we get a chance, but most of the time we get together is legit just us hanging out and enjoying each other's company.

The hard part about all of this (other than the eventual consequences) is that I can't show how I feel about her. I do like to be openly affectionate, but that obviously can't happen in this scenario. Not being able to tell my friends "Hey, I'm seeing this really awesome girl and I think she's great" kinda sucks. Also knowing that I can never like, take her on a trip somewhere just the two of us, or have her spend the night regularly, it's definitely a little disheartening at times. But also I genuinely care about her, and if there's some extra stuff I have to deal with to be with her, I'm ok with that.

Also I need to keep reminding myself that this is still pretty fresh. While we've known each other for almost 2 years, and have both had feelings for each other for a good chunk of that time, it's only been 2 months since we found out that the other felt the same way/started doing this. So since I've decided to keep going through with this, I just need to kinda see where this goes as time goes on.

Okay FUCK I don't know what this means but I have to share it holy shit it was was something else I think probably...

so I ordered taco bell on door dash and this sort of thing is always normal.

But this time it was NOT normal. NOT AT ALL. The dash person contacted me and was like "yo I'm waiting for your order and the driver thru line is LONG AS FUCK I might bail tbh" so I was like "dude, no worries, it is what it is..."

He stuck it out and closer and then taco bell told they were literally out of almost everything on my fucking order and I was like "shit"

I told him "get me whatever you can get me. I don't care. Make it work. If you can extort more out of them because they fucked up, that's even better. He texted back that all of this was because of covid-related bullshit (in general it makes sense. My state is very blue so overall I was surprised that covid still caused issues).

He showed up and called me because my address is annoying and I was like "oh no worries, just leave it at <details> and he praised me over the phone for being super cool to talk to and I was like (really? I was just being not a dick. You were cool too bro but you give me too much credit)

I still don't even fully know what I got. He might have scammed me. Bag was heavy-ish though so LET'S DIG IN AND FIND OUT >_>

Its definitely worth mentioning that many of the people in the movement to normalize not shaving have light body hair and are conventionally attractive. A lot of this stuff has gotten traction when white women do stuff like dye their armpit hair, less so when POC choose to not shave (not gonna repeat the things POC have been called here but it was abhorrent and incredibly racist)

Similar to overweight women - you might be tolerable if you put on a lot of makeup and have prominent features and big breasts, but you dont get to be tolerated otherwise.
It boils down to having to go out of your way to perform femininity - when it is a given if you are conventionally attractive.

Seeing others get flak when I do the same thing and don't because it's light is what gets me so mad about it in the first place. I know what you mean, POC and others with dark hair get treated worse. My sister's one of them, and when we're at the pool, the stares and comments she gets pretty much force her and not me into shaving. She big and beautiful but she can't even go swimming without getting a huge number on her self esteem and it's such BS

Not a big deal... door dash guy said they were missjbg a lot of what I ordered. They were only missing a little bit and the small changed they made to accommodate were sensible and fine. I might not have even noticed tbh.

I got extra drink though for sone reason lol. The cool thing was, after doordash dude texted me like "oh no where r u " and I was like "<address>" and he eventually figured it out. Building's annoying. The he was like "you were cool as shit dude you were my best customer all night" basically, because taco bell fucked up and I was just like "no worries do whatever, and I don't carehow long it takes"

The interesting part was later. I tooked up the name as he wqs talking and I was like "that your real name?" I only use initials. He said yeah and I was like "that's my name too, bro" because it is. Motherfucker had the same name as me (just first name but damn, he couldn't even see because I don't have it my profile.
