What's your favorite beer brand?

I prefer Stella Artois when I do drink beer which isn't often.

Of those, Guinness.

For smaller brews, I prefer Yukon Brewing or Wild Rose Brewery.

I don't really have one, despite the name. I do have some Coors loyalty out of a mix of local pride and the fact that they gave me a lot of free beer, but they're a soulless giant corporation and it's mostly a joke.

Oh there's a local one I remembered that is pretty cool, I don't think they've made it outside of Colorado though so people have probably never heard of it

never used to like beer/alcohol, but recent tried a variety of non-alcoholic beers, and one in particular called Sober Carpenter I find to be fantastic. it's like, oh that's why someone would drink beer... probably related to my age, but the taste is so good, like it's a deep complex interesting taste, which is not usually something you would consider capable of being complex.

the three flavors I've tried are all great in their own way:

White (blue can): tastes kind of wheaty, with a bit of bitter orange peel. was my favorite at first but has the least flavor, and I don't really like the faint orange peel taste.

Irish Red (red can): my favorite, can't even describe it, just deep amazing flavor

IPA (green can): almost as deep a flavor as the red one, but with a strong bitter kick to it. I imagine when I was younger I probably would not have liked the bitterness, but right now I find it pretty great.

I think this describes the usual "taste migration" for beer pretty well. Almost everyone starts out not liking it. Then they have enough (at college - or for whatever reason) that they eventually do.

The bulk beers (Bud, etc) have a light enough (watery) flavor that they're...OK. (Never really good, maybe, but OK enough that they're drinkable if you want to join in the beer drinking) Then people discover it's better to have something slightly fruity, i.e. a Corona with a lime. Then the more complicated flavor of a red becomes interesting to them. Then their bitter resistance is gone and IPAs taste good.

You seem to have gone through that quickly. :)

those are the only flavors I can get from that company, but yeah, it took 1-2 weeks to shift from liking the blue one best to liking the red and green ones best.

there's a couple more flavors that they make (Ale Blonde (yellow can), and Organic Session IPA (white can)) but they aren't available here for now.

but man they are so good it's ridiculous

Lol I like Miller high life when I want something really cheap, but it's the absolute minimum of what's acceptable.

Coors tastes like paint to me. It's terrible. Only reason ppl drink it is because they don't know what a decent beer actually is.

Guinness for availability. Smooth and flavorful.

There is a local brand called Rohrbach, specifically their Scotch Ale and Vanilla Porter. Delicious!

Out of the list, Corona is my go-to cheap beer. I also tend to have a fondness for Coors and Labatt, Coors being the beer my friends drank in college and Labatt being my first since it is all my uncle drinks.
