idk, when I saw the news in my feed, I thought it was just for major events. However, if NYC is starting to do it, my idiot governor will likely make this a thing as well before long -- and it's stupid because the vax cards are oversized and flimsy, so they'll get wrecked pretty quickly. As much as this is generally a good thing, I can't help but feel bad for the minimum wage front-line workers that will face all of the backlash from this. They had to deal with enough (including actual violence) from people over masks; this may just push some of those jackasses over the edge.

I met someone recently who moved from New York. They have an electronic system with a QR code that is used for verification. Obviously this isn't a perfect solution because not everyone will have a smartphone, but the idea being that the investment and potential risk of forging the document will lead people to vaccinate as the path of least resistance.

They are giving people money to take the shot, and some of these idiots will actively spend money to avoid getting it. I don't even understand that. CVS, Walgreens, and grocery store pharmacies are essentially everywhere. It's hard to imagine someone not already being in the vicinity of these places, if not already physically entering these places.

This. Called mine up, they called me back, I put on pants and was in and out in half an hour. Second shot was even easier, yeah it was close to 40 degrees outside, (that's like 105 in freedom units) but I still got my pants on and made the five minute drive to get my shot.

Not according to the science, even an infusion of monoclonal antibodies does not provide the level of antibody creation that we see from the available inoculations. Even before delta, doctors were advising people who have had covid, to get their shot.

Thats why I postponed it for so long. Almost all my care is done through the VA and they were prioritizing the older vets so I didnt get offered one. Then finally I just walked into a CVS and they were like yeah we take walk-ins so I was like shoot me up

If you're going with the logic that "man-made things are worse than natural" as the sole basis for your position, it stands to reason that you should also opt to use natural things over man-made in all other aspects of your life. Otherwise, you're just creating exceptions, and if you're making exceptions, that logic stops meaning anything on its own. You'll need to explain why this isn't an exception to justify anything.

One more thing.

I'm fairly certain that the covid ELISA test(the most commonly used antibody test) is based on the human cellular response to the manufactured vaccine. A person can test positive on the same test, without a vaccine since they are producing the antibodies considered to provide immunity.
