The Flight Attendant deserves all the awards. What an entertaining show. I consider it more of a drama with comedy in it though, but I see why they put it in Comedy so it had a better shot of winning.

Every other awards show treated Hamilton as a TV thing, it's just the golden globes being silly as always.

couple things of note:

-Didn't think The Boys had a shot in hell of getting a Best Drama nomination but I love that it did
-I agree that having Hamilton here seems weird, since it's basically just a live recording of a play rather than something specifically created for TV
-WandaVision nominations are a nice surprise, though I doubt they'll win much, and I'm also not sure they get the nomination if it was under comedy or drama instead of miniseries
-these Handmaid's Tale actor/actress nominations seem a bit much
-in general the actor/acting awards seem really crowded. Aren't they usually 5 nominees each?

I used to watch so much stuff, now the only things nominated here Ive seen are Wandavision and SNL

people seem to really like this Ted Lasso thing but then I also see people who like it saying its not actually very funny? maybe Ill watch it at some point, but Im not feeling super compelled.

Yeah I feel about the same, the shift to streaming really killed any motivation for me to stay up to date with things. It's hard to tell what's legit good, everything gets hyped to heaven the second it comes out then nobody is talking about it two weeks later.

Lol I hadn't noticed but the supporting categories are ridiculous. IIRC they have a system where if a name gets more than 5% of the total ballots they get in, so it's not a hard cap at 5 or anything. I might be wrong on that.
