The labyrinth's gonna change tonight, I've been saving up my stamina potions and record markers in hopes of getting Fran and Seven stuff with max (or at least good) passives before I fight Enkidu.

Man it's gonna be a gauntlet of superbosses, tonight Enkidu (oh and d550 FF12 Gilgamesh, but he doesn't compare) next week Type-0 Bahamut, then Ice Weak Wodin, then FFT Bahamut and two weeks later FF3 Bahamut. Hoo boy.

At least that's gonna be a lot of anima lens+.

I only used two markers and then I just bought 3/3/6 Fran gear from the shop to fight Abductor. Right now I have to get a little exercise before it gets dark though so I'll be ready to take on the incognito Enkidu after that.

Man I'm not sure if it's because we don't have the wind seal from Wodin because he isn't out yet or this guy just hits like a truck naturally but man is this guy painful! I got him to 40% but he killed Orran and Deuce right before phase 4 started so I was doomed because I got de hasted. It's hard to time Deuce/Orran awakenings because you need to save them to counter the slows between all this damage.

Guess Ill farm out Trey and Xezat gear... probably wont try too hard for 5/5/8 though since theyre both marginal members of their respective teams

Hmm, yeah, I got him below 40% and used Lenna's awakening 2 to counter the slow, but then 4/5 members died to the Labyrinth Tornado the next turn. Her AASB1 would be much better there since it gives last stand, but I don't have it. Celes also didn't have enough SB to refresh the chain on time.

I think I saw a couple other things I can improve though... I should use Delita's awakening first for the 100% crit because later I'll have enough SB to use his USB (75% crit) right before his sync. Also I forgot about the def/res/mnd buff and used a different glint at the beginning of that phase, then I couldn't counter the buff because of the paintings. So time to try again.

Got 550 XIV Gilgamesh down pretty easily; hopefully I can get at least a few of the other realms 500s down this time (and maybe 550 for T-0)

Man I'm gonna call it a night, fuck Enkidu. UGH. Those stupid paintings, that ridiculous damage, the short time limit and slows all mix together to make a truly miserable boss fight. Maybe I'm just gonna have to wait until Ice Weak Wodin and/or the dream selects and get Squall's fire awakening so I can kill him before he times out me (or kills me with his cap breaking damage, one or the other)

At least I got a 5% damage armor for Seven with a marker so that's nice. She's gonna be on my T-0 Bahamut team, hopefully I can get a 5% weapon for her too before Bahamut comes out.

Sounds like you spent more time on it than I did. Definitely tough but I'm not mad yet, maybe because I went in with low expectations. I think I need another cap break for one of my chainers (Celes or Laguna), and I need a real chain for magic.

I wish we didn't have to wait SO long for the anima lens refresh since I think that'll really open up more teambuilding options.

Yeah, it's really annoying to get to around 20% left and not being able to finish him off because the turn limit is so short, in top of dealing with all of the high damage and having someone di e and bringing down the momentum.

This is obviously Dena's way of pressuring people to pull for dyads, but they're mostly on such wack banners where that like the only relic for that character and I've had terrible luck getting them (I still only have 2, Lighting and Ayame and no other cap breaks for Ayame)

You guys should consider yourself lucky, at least compared to me. I saved up 750 mythril for the fest where they debuted and I only got Lightning's, and for the fest I saved 500 for I didn't get any! And there was a banner with 3 of them on it I pulled like 6 times on!

Well at least I figured out how to deal with survivability problems against Enkidu. I swapped Deuce for Sarah since her sync, awakening and brave USB all provide last stand. I also save her awakening for phase 4's start where I use it to recover off the painful first turn aeroga and overwrite the slow and get another last stand as a safety net. I can get to 90% now but I can't kill him in time before he Maze End's me , even if get lucky with a bunch of dualcasts. I guess I really do need Squall's awakening 2 or 3 to finish him off because I tried stacking Celes' awakenings but she barely hits over 20000 even with Ode to Victory, Orran BSB and Fran's 70% break USB.

I'm really tempted to pull on the current banner for Squall awakening 3 but I want to save up for the Fire Chocobo event in a few weeks.

If the Squall stuff and Laguna stuff from b2 were on the same banner I'd be pretty tempted. There really aren't a lot of banners coming up that look great to me.

I tried Abductor a few more times, I think I'm giving up until I get a new relic. My main problem is when I get to phase 4 my only counter to slow is Lenna's awakening 2 which doesn't give last stand or heal, and I really need to heal at that point in the fight. And my damage is to slow to save Orran's awakening for that point. I could try a different healer with a better awakening like Elarra, but her USB isn't nearly as good as Lenna's.

Do you have any characters with last stand and haste on USB/entry? Deuce and Sarah work for me.

Also we can take solace since it seems only a handful of people have beat Enkidu from what I've seen on the FFRK board, Reddit and discord. Also there's only one global win on Youtube. I guess just getting to 90% isn't that bad.

Did a manual labyrinth run today on Volcano, got 5% damage weapons for Edea and Xezat but only 1 one weapon for Deuce and it was a magic boost at start, bleh. I got a 8% cast time reduction accessory for her at least.

Also beat the last 3 Gilgameshes, FFT and FF3 were easy sub30's and I even sub20 the Type-0 one. Hopefully that's a good sign I'll have an easier time with Type-0 Bahamut next Thursday!

Yeah, I do have Eiko and Sarah... both are pretty good, but I don't have proshellga glints for them and they're not in the shop yet. Once the shop updates I really want to grab Eiko's glint and USB5 and try her as a main healer.

Well, damn... I got him down to 5.8% and Fran was charging her limit break when I got maze gated. 400k is 6.3% of his HP so if I got that off I think it would have been a win.

Type-0 500 Gilgamesh ended up being very easy as well; also realized I had only slightly RBed Cater and Trey. Whoops!

I think I should be able to do at least one more 500 with XIII and pick up those + lenses (assuming Vanille can heal with just her BSB + Mog assist); not positive I'll be able to do three 550s or five 500s.

Welp... once again the game locked up my whole phone after the kill and before it communicated with the server. It seems like taking a screenshot might increase the odds of that happening so no more screenshots from now on. At least now I know I can do it so hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to replicate this.

Dang I'm surprised you beat him with less cap breaks than me. What's your soul break usage? Seems like every time I stall with USBs in a phase I always get time'd out. Or Delita just that OP with his sync & awakening combo?

Delita's definitely strong, he seems to do more damage than Squall did the one time I tried him. Also I brought Fabula Priestess but I'm not sure if it made a difference. I don't THINK I used it a second time but I can't remember for sure.

Orran's 4th turn should come right when the first slow hits. I have him wait though and use abilities for Fran and Delita, Lenna USB4, and then Celes chain (if she's in slot 5 she has enough to use it now). Then I used Orran's AASB and instant cast Fran's sync and Delita's awakening and have them keep using sync ability and HA. Celes used an ability, then Magicite (maybe it should have been the other order), then en-ice+IC1 glint, then doublecast USB and doublecast her HA for a while. Lenna instant casts Curada off of Orran's awakening, then uses Brave ability, then RW heal, then USB4 again (you're taking lots of damage here if you don't have wall), ability, brave ability. Orran has to use an ability after his awakening, then can use his BSB off of the second fast turn from Lenna's first USB usage. Then just use abilities until you reach phase 2.

Phase 2, Orran counters the def/res/mnd buff with his G+ as the first action, Fran and Delita are still attacking, Celes needs to refresh the chain as soon as the red painting disappears (hold her instant action from the first painting to do it). I think I collected the white painting with Orran's sync. At this point Fran goes imperil USB, awakening 1, awakening 2, and then just attack with abilities while Delita goes critfix USB, Sync, sync ability, and Celes uses her awakening and then attacks with her HA. This carries me through the end of phase 2 and phase 3 before Labyrinth Twister and Dehaste.

Phase 4, Celes needs to refresh her chain as soon as she can, Orran waits and uses awakening to counter slow, and when he can refreshes his Burst for the attack buff. Delita used sync ability 2 during the dead zone to boost his damage. As soon as the 5 seconds ends go to town and try to kill him, while Lenna and Orran try to keep the team alive. I used my second Odin summon here somewhere but I don't remember exactly where it was (might have been p3 actually). At the very end Celes's awakened mode ended so I used her AOSB, and I used Orran's BSB ability to give Fran IC1 so she could finish the fight with her limit break.

Alright, was able to replicate my clear. I messed up my timing a bit and got maze gated before using Fran's limit... I thought it was over, but before I restarted, Odin came along and took off the last 1.1% for me while my whole team was paralyzed!

I decided to move on to magic weak Enkidu. My team is Orran, Ysayle, Rinoa, Mog and Edea in that order. I got him to 90% at least, but I need star crossing dualcast luck if want to beat the time limit, or another cap break for one of my characters.

Hooooo boy! One of the most tense fights in this game yet! So much RNG involved, but when you get that win, mannnn is it ever satisfying! I'm still sweating from that!


Guess that means that Wodin victory next week is all but assured now!

I don't think there was much doublecast luck, since I did almost the same thing 3 times in a row. First time I got him to 5.8% but Fran didn't get her limit off. Second time was exactly the same but she got her limit off because I had Orran give her IC1 on the last turn. Third time was slightly different, I got to phase 4 about a second earlier which probably was due to doublecasting. Probably it's just because Delita is powerful. The self crit on his awakening is super useful in phase 1, and the chases from USB and Sync do a lot in phase 3/4.

I suppose that points out that Squall is the weak link on my physical ice team huh... Kinda sad he's outclassed by a dude who specializes in two more elements than him, though Delita is S tier in Japan for a reason despite not having an ATB sync. Though I can't really replace him since he's the only physical ice character with two cap breaks I have (wish I got Kiros sync from the FF8 banner) But since you only need to beat one Enkidu to get the maps mission I can come back later, I already got a 5% weapon for Edea through RNG anyway and have nothing for Palom but his USB.

Well I did tell you were really lucky to get Delita's awakening off the daily when you though he wasn't worth using at first!

Type-0 Bahamut is Thursday, he's apparently the easiest Bahamut according to Japanese players, though it's pretty obvious because of Rem, but there's other things too.

-Only 5 million HP and 4 King's Rage hits
-No phase 2 Sphere interrupt
-I mentioned Rem already but there's also Ace, another mage with an ATB speed up sync, and since most of Bahamut's moveset isn't blinkable Ace will be at full speed for most of the fight. And both Ace and Rem have 6 hit HAs.
-Physical is really strong too, Queen has a cap break sync and awakening gives her self crit chance boost, Eight gets an ATB sync on the event banner (there was a video of Eight sub20ing Bahamut with it on launch day in Japan!) honestly pretty much every DPS in this realm is solid other than Nine and maybe Cinque.
-Deuce is one of the best healers in the game right now and has a stoneskin USB/awakening to deal with anti-heal.

I'm just gonna simple mage though with Ace, Rem, Seven, Mog and Deuce. I can't seem to get a 5% damage boosting whip for Seven though even after 4 manual runs of that labyrinth

Hmm, I have Rem Sync/AASB and Ace Sync but nothing else for magic. I guess I need to try a mixed team, or just put it off.

I've been trying to do magic Abductor, but it seems like staying alive is tougher as well as my chain being weaker. Cait Sith doesn't heal as much as Orran does (and lower HP might be a factor too).

T-0 Bahamut shouldn't be too difficult. My Rem is stacked and the rest of the party (Deuce, Queen and probably Cater) should be good enough.

Hrm, tempted to pull on the second T0 banner since I'd really like to get Deuce's awakening/sync (Seven stuff would also be useful since my ice magic team could use some help); on the other hand, I already have the Cater and Machina AASBs and my mythril is quite low.

Type-0 Bahamut beaten! Almost sub30 too >_< No kidding this was the easiest Bahamut, beat him second try (and that's only because I forgot Mako Might on Deuce.) (Thanks to a connection issue I couldn't get a in battle screenshot.)

I think I probably have a good shot of at least beating the DB for T-0, so Ill try to get that done. I have five BDLs on my team including Rems sync+AA combo so I assume the bahamuts doable too, but I dont know if Ill actually be able to pull it off.

Type-0 Dreambreaker is one of the easiest, you just need to have Deuce use imperils since that bosses uses big stacks of Omni Nulls. Rem can do most of the damage by herself, a lot of people beat that Dreambreaker with just Rem and guys with USBs and backup DPSs.

Bahamut is more iffy though, even if he is the easiest Bahamut his gimmicks are still there except for the phase 2 Dragon Sphere interrupt.

Yeah I tried the DB once a few weeks ago and got him to about 50% before getting killed by his %max attack; Im pretty confident I can beat him as long as I look up when I need to be fully healed. I also have two FB counters between Mog and Cater.

Biggest derp moment was I should have had Ace on the bottom and Seven on top (boy does that not sound right considering Seven uses a whip) because Ace gets memory bitten when Ace is about to stack his awakening and sync. Seven doesn't even use any meter outside of her Awakening anyway.

Nice, I beat T0 Bahamut too and my team was not what I would call good, aside from Rem. 36.78. I did invest in HAs for Ace and Queen, since I have plenty of sapphires and crystals.

Doing labyrinth dungeons for the first time, to see what it's like. Definitely a grind, but kinda fun! I just hope I don't run into anything that absorbs elements. I have a phys wind, mag holy, and FF5 earth team.

Slower than I would have liked, but it's fine for now. Not sure what I did wrong, but Rem couldn't come remotely close to breaking 20k in phase 3. I could have relied on OSBs, but I killed Bahamut before Mega Flare, so there was no need.

Rem is obviously a goddess, but Queen with her 7-hit HA, the self crit-fix on her AASB, and the quick-cast and buff from Trance and USB was nuts too.

Got another dupe Fujin awakening 1 with my ticket, when the things I want most from the banner are her chain, sync, and awakening 2. Also Raijin LMR.

Got a dupe OK sync with today's ticket (now 5/5, well there's no rod artifact for FF3 so this is a rare useable gacha weapon) and Arc's 3 hit chase lmr. It's not a cap break but it's still very nice.

We're supposed to get another ticket from a Cardia campaign I think for beating a Bahamut? Plus those little 1 pull tickets like magicite campaigns.

Really hoping I can get another cap break for CoD or Arc before FF3 Bahamut comes out. Also stinks that it's the dream selects after the next one where Arc Awakening 2 and sync are selectable, most likely too late for the Bahamut missions...
