- Please consider the loop point listed when judging the song; if a video loops one minute 5 times, don't treat it as if it's a repetitive 5 minute song
- If it's a match between your favorite song ever and a song you despise, still LISTEN TO BOTH! Votes can and will be disqualified if there is suspicion songs are not being listened to, and you may be discounted for the rest of the contest for repeat offenses.
- No alt accounts, no rallying or begging, etc., etc.... You only get one vote! Swapping votes is alright, just make clear that you've already made a vote and are swapping.

thought the crayon match might've been close (they're still just over 20 ranks apart) but not really

match 2 is nearly identical but 2 and 5 ranks lower lol. kinda closer i guess( despite the slightly larger ranking gap), though it still wasn't really in doubt

weaker 3rd match, i'd probably pick id over fc. still not bad though

in case bnw loses today, just figured i'd mention i'm thinking about nominating someday under the moon next time, hope it gets in. i'd more than likely support an all original song namco x capcom bost set too, not that i still really expect that to happen

I figured out which Unknown Pollution moment makes me think of Deoxyribose! The electric guitar at 1:09 is very close in sound to Deoxyribose's 4:42, and they even start with similar melodic shapes! The aggressive bass sounds are also part of it, but it's only at that guitar moment when the patterns click in my brain. It's a great track, beats out Apostle's Maraud for me but probably not Deoxyribose.

Edit: I just to mention something I love about Id ~ Purpose... Toxtricity has often talked about this theme churning out modulation after modulation in certain sections (like 0:55 - 1:30). The music sounds so much better just being aware of that. But there is one moment in the track where, to borrow his language, makes me FALL OUT OF MY CHAIR every time, (or, more literally, makes me SMILE every time) without exception. The musical phrase finally settles with a feeling of finality at ,1:08, ahhhh, so wonderful, but then you got one FINAL surprise key change at 1:10, and THAT is the moment! (likely in my top five harmonic moments in vgm)

RIP Crayons. One of my absolute favourite tracks this VGMC is getting (seemingly) curb-stomped by a song that isn't even one of the best from its game. With that said, Unknown Pollution is a banger so I can't really complain.

Man, match 2 really is a bitch. Whatever wins here, I want to go all the ay and win B bracket, as unlikely as that is for both. I love these songs to death, and it really sucks that one has to go out this early. Whatever wins, I win, but whatever loses, I lose.

However, in terms of what to vote for... I've made a decision. A decision I can sum up in just four words.

THIS IS THE YEAR. I vote Id (Purpose).

match 1 and 3 are both kinda close for me even if my preferences are clear. for match 2 my preference is very strong tho

(also oh no i just realized we forgot to replace the excess crayons video with dowolf's video (with lyrics and stuff) in round 2 even though i replaced it manually in the topic toward the start of its match in round 1 oops, should have included that replacement in the sheet, well here that is anyways if you want to watch from it:

Fair enough I guess. Unknown is very much a "straight banger" whereas there are a lot of other tracks in RV that do more wacky and fun things musically. It's a brilliant soundtrack from a brilliant composer.
