I'm expecting something big considering that the 4th episode with these shows is when things pick up.

I've been theorizing Ravonna here, but working for Kang will be the tease at the end. But I thought (WV spoilers) Agatha was working for Mephisto the entire time, too, and that tease died with a catchy song.

I'd expect Kang if Ant-Man wasn't so far away still. Would seem weird to introduce him then not really do anything with him for 2+ years. Then again I guess they did that with Thanos.

Whoa, that was definitely Stark Tower. Wondering where they're taking this going back to NYC.

Crazy episode. I'm thinking the big bad of this show is gonna be someone working for Kang. Even though he's in Ant-Man 3, I'm thinking it could be something like Thanos in GotG.

I'm still not convinced Sylvie is a Loki. I'm beginning to think the TVA lady is the real Lady Loki, she knows way more than anyone else in the TVA and is clearly part of some conspiracy. Sylvie is just some variant she implanted memories and powers in to deflect from the real plan.

Also, that entire flashback at the beginning was shown from the Loki's perspective. And then it turns out it's the TVA lady remembering it all.

Instead something (on Yahoo, sorry) that said the middle of the three Timekeepers clearly was Kang. I know nothing about Kang or the actor cast to play Kang, but the article gave some fairly compelling reasons based on appearance.

Of course that could also be a red herring.

That's on them since we've known about the Multiverse since Endgame. I'm saying your theory doesn't really have any evidence to back it up. It's just guessing a twist because you expect a twist.

i am confused though -- so like they're on lamentis literally seconds away from dying. they start to hold hands, which i guess begins a nexus branch and explains how the tva found them.

what i dont understand is this -- if they were going to die in seconds, what exactly could they have done in such a short period of time to create a nexus event big enough for the tva to find them? and if the answer is something like "they would have escaped the impending doom" then they would have done so prior to being in a spot where they were literal seconds away from death

basically -- there is nothing they could have done to create a branch from the timeline in the seconds before their deaths. that's literally why sylvie was hiding in apocalypses -- because the apocalypse would erase the entire branch no matter what she did.

unless them making out somehow causes them to fuse and become some immortal super god allowing them to survive? otherwise i must have missed something

i was under the impression that it was because they were in essence the same person touching each other. Im not certain the romantic aspect has much to do with it.

Just that they are the same being interacting with each other likely causes some pretty devastating effects to the timeline.

Could be a lot of things, maybe they even got pregnant just by looking at each other/touching each other. Loki has some wild childbirth stories in Norse mythology so you never know.

Which I agree could definitely happen, but not in the course of a few seconds. And it's not like that was the first time they touched. They fought, she tried to enchant loki for a few seconds in the shack, like it wasn't the first time they touched.

Which, again, they had literal seconds before presumed death. No way she would have time to get pregnant, give birth, and somehow have a literal newborn survive the destruction of a planet

Not saying it's impossible -- surely things like this happen in the comics, but the MCU hasn't even come close to that semblance of wackiness

it was such a major character shift for loki/sylvie to fall in love, even paradoxical since it was technically himself, thats why he was teasing him about it, Loki started to actually care for people. But if you want to explain it away as "Wow" then sure lol

I figured that them actually bonding might have begun to awaken new powers they can use together. Perhaps a power that would either save themselves or Lamentis. At least, that's all I could rationalize at the moment it was happening.

I actually liked / bought Mobius' interpretation of the event: that it was such unbelievably peak narcissism that it actually registered on the cosmic scale.

tbf, at any point in time, Loki could've just yelled for Heimdall to bifrost them off of the planet. But that would require paying Idris Elba for a TV show cameo (or disappoint fans by having someone else operate the bifrost cuz it was Heimdall's "day off" or whatever), and I knew they weren't going to do that.

But it's still all I was thinking of the entire time watching these last two episodes.

Lamentis is on the Sacred Timeline. By 2077, Heimdall was long dead and Asgard was long gone.

There's a couple of reasons that wouldn't work.

Asgard is gone, so no bifrost.
Heimdal is dead.
