Just saw a theory on tiktok that all of the episodes are based on an infinity stone:

Episode 1 - Soul. Lots of orange in this episode. We see a new side to Loki, that he has a soul and cares for people and has actual emotions

Episode 2 - Reality. Lots of red in this episode. Loki is questioning whats real, whos real, etc.

Episode 3 - Power. Lots of purple in this episode. Loki and Sylvie show off a lot of new powers. They spend much of the episode looking for a power source.

Episode 4 - Mind. Lots of yellow/gold in this episode. Loki changes Mobiuss mind and Sylvie changes B-15s mind about the TVA

Two episodes left. Two stones left. Space and Time.

Oh and another video about Ravonna. In the opening of this weeks episode her call sign is A-23. Her first appearance in the comics was Avengers #23, where Kang the Conquerer professed his love to her and she shot his ass down.

So many cool details in this show

Loki's development was fine in Thor 2 and 3

This is the Loki from avengers and instead of developing he's just not acting like himself and standing there being lame.

It sucks.

The Loki in this show definitely seems lamer.

It's because they're focusing on making Loki sympathetic and doubling down on the "sad puppy angle" and not letting him be the God of Mischief at all.

All of his tricks and attempts at subterfuge are purposefully telegraphed and caught on by literally everyone else, and he just comes off as a loser who loves to hear himself talk.

Which I guess is exactly what they're going for, but it doesn't make for an interesting protagonist. You can tell the point of the show is to introduce the TVA and nexus multiverse stuff, not Loki himself.

This is a good elaboration of how I feel.

Even outside of TVA, he cant combat basic grunts. Its super weird how watered down this Loki is. I mean, Wanda had great development and felt better in her show.

Loki is just not engaging to me in his own show. I feel like the narcissistic love angle because of loneliness was the wrong approach.

I feel like this is deliberate. All of his tricks and lies don't work on the TVA because they know every single word he's ever said.

Yes. But it's weird that he could even get drunk.

And part of the reason I was so sure that he was scamming Sylvie in that episode is because he acted like a total buffoon. So it's weird that he was even drinking booze at all.

Yeah this is a good write up

The show seems like "The TVA! Featuring Owen Wilson and some chicks.... oh also Loki is here too somewhere I.guess who cares?"

And it shows

Loki was the best part of Thor 2 for a reason. Because despite it being a bad film, his performance was great and made him stick out

In this show? He feels more like Xander from Buffy than Loki

And the writing feels more like Charmed than Buffy

What about the theory that Immortus is behind it? He could have also been responsible for the events in WandaVision. In the comics he wanted Wanda to marry vision so she couldn't have children.

Ignoring how I find it weird that he legit was dumb enough to get drunk (Has he even been shown to stress drink?)

He should be able to easily defeat normal dudes even intoxicated. He has super strength and magic. Like, inside TVA it makes sense. He cant use magic, and everyone else has instant KO weapons.

But theres no reason Sylvie should be manhandling Loki with WalMart employees.

I remember Thor bringing some extra strong alcohol to the party in Age of Ultron, implying that Asgardians can get drunk but only off insane stuff that humans shouldn't even attempt to drink.

Even if he was being facetious for the sake of the party, I still don't really buy Loki getting drunk on the train unless he'd been downing tons of entire bottles by himself. But even then, it wasn't really an appropriate time for it, even if he does want to justify it by calling himself hedonistic.

He's also maybe a couple days removed from being ragdolled by Hulk then seeing the rest of his life was getting his own mother killed, the death of Odin, the destruction of Asgard and then having his neck snapped by Thanos.

It depends who he's up against. While he's no match physically for the likes of Thor, Hulk and Thanos, in the first Avengers film he's taking on Cap who had Black Widow providing air support and isn't really having any problems until Tony shows up (and even then, that's probably a tactical surrender).

Really all superpowers are prone to be nerfed when they're the hero.

But in Loki's case you could argue that he really needs to have the feeling of control and confidence in order for him to be useful. Something he utterly lacks in this show until maybe right near the end of the last episode.

The fact that he took multiple groin kicks from Lady Sif and lived indicates that he's still strong enough that a regular dude shouldn't be a problem.
