The morning after the first shot, my arm was very sore. It only lasted an hour or two.

After the second shot I had a really difficult night trying to sleep. I felt freezing cold, and was tossing and turning a lot. The next two days I felt a bit unwell, with a very mild headache (so mild it was hard to tell it was even there), but nothing serious.

I was prepared for the worst but all I had from the second Pfizer dose were muscle aches and lethargy.

Oh any yeah my arm was really sore for a couple days after the first dose. Second dose was much better, but I also made sure to move my arm around more after getting it. Maybe that made the difference.

I got Moderna. My arm was very sore after the first shot, like if I lifted the rest of my arm above my shoulder, I felt a really sharp pain.

Got my second shot, and it felt like I might have had a slight fever, but I didn't take my temperature, so I don't know. My arm was only like 40% as sore as after the first shot.

got the johnson & johnson and the progression for me was like

fine for the first ~12 hrs after getting it -> felt awful for ~12 hrs (pulsing headache, fatigue, chills, general soreness) -> fine again for a few hrs -> mildly crappy for a few hrs (mainly the headache again) -> fine for good

above is not counting the arm being sore to the touch, which was consistently there for several days even after the rest of it was done but not a huge deal in comparison

Pfizer

For both doses, soreness in the arm that began roughly 2 hours after shot and lasted for around 3 days.

For the first dose, slight fatigue that lasted for around 24 hours (just a general feeling of tiredness, nothing that prevented me from doing anything.

For the second dose, nothing other than the soreness

Haven't had a COVID shot yet, but I get similar from the flu shot. Moving a lot reduces the soreness for whatever reason. Which is of course slightly complicated by the fact that the flu shot makes me sleepy for a day.

Moderna round 2 kicked my butt (fever, fatigue, even some vomit) for about 24 hours and then I was fine. I feel like even the normal shot pain wore off faster than usual.

Nope. Only a weak pain in the arm but nothing different from other vaccines I got in the past.

But I had COVID in the past so maybe we recoverers take those vaccines easier

No side effects after the first shot (except it was easier for me to sleep!).

After the second one, I started feeling really sick the morning after, which lasted for about a day. I probably wouldnt have gotten sick if I had the night off, but I had to work all night after getting the shot, and I didnt sleep well enough when I got home to stave off disaster. Fever, headache, nausea/vomitting. Workplace made me get a covid test before returning because they said vomitting isnt a typical side effect (I of course tested negative), but I always throw up when I get headaches from lack of sleep, so I didnt find it unusual. I felt 100% better just 24 hours after I started feeling sick, so I only missed one night of work.

(I got Moderna, by the way.)

Got moderna dose 1. Moving did not help with arm pain, may have made it worse.

Pain was highest almost exactly 12 hours after getting the shot. Keeping my arm completely straight relieved pain.

At about 18 hours now and the pain has mostly subsided.

Day after my 2nd pfizer shot I basically felt like I had a mild cold.

Woke up achey and fatigued with a 99 degree fever (I normally run 97). Got chills and headaches during the day.

Next morning I felt fine again.

I was the only person in the office that got more than some soreness.

It's likely some combination of comorbidities or working with the public that is qualifying people on B8.

I haven't gotten mine yet, though I'm thinking of signing up for one of those excess dose lists that notify you if someplace near has extra doses.

if you can find a phone number, that's more reliable than a website. i went through so many busted website flows until i gave up. after that, i called a center in my city until someone picked up and they set up an appointment

just got my first moderna injection (apparently they just toss a coin to decide whether you get moderna or pfizer). my shoulder felt weird for about 10 minutes but i'm fine now

apparently you're not supposed to take any ibuprofen the day of- whoops. i think i'll be fine

First shot- Red spot on arm that lasted two weeks
Second shot- no red spot, but I had a fever and chills. (I took Ibuprofen for the fever and apparently you are not supposed to do that but it helped so whatever)

I had Pfizer (is that spelled right?)

Haven't gotten dose 2 of Pokemon Moderna (that comes on April 20th) but dose 1...

0-15 minutes: mild itching in my arm (and strangely, my foot)
15-60 minutes: nothing.
60-240 minutes: Arm pain, as I expected.
--Bedtime occurred roughly here--
*Two hours pass*
*Stomach pains, moderate arm pain, and bathroom visits for the rest of the night*
*Calls out of work at 6 AM*
--8 AM arrives--
*Finally get to sleep for a lengthy period of time*
Woke up, stomach was still rotten, whole body felt like I'd just swum in syrup for an hour. The fatigue lasted two days, the arm pain for three (and was significantly less hampering on day 3.)

I went to work on day 2, but oh MAN did I feel horrible during it.

Worst part is, I've been told to expect a worse reaction from dose 2 by my doctor. I have the day off after my next vaccine in anticipation of it, but still...

My state rolled out priority based on age. They're now taking people 30+ years and up and I fall under that range.

I don't know how I feel about a vaccine when I had actual covid with symptoms milder than the side effects of the vaccine.

Got moderna

first shot had arm pain and a big red spot for about a week. My arm tingled when they injected it which was freaky. I was also a little more tired than usual

second dose I had a headache a few hours later and the next morning started on and off chills and body aches. Had a fever of 99.6 for about a half hour. Was extremely exhausted and spent the day napping every few hours. Tylenol helped take the edge off though. woke up the next day in a puddle of sweat but 100% better
