This GME thing is very entertaining. I actually just reassessed if I wanted to buy back in in case something like this happens a few days ago, but I just don't have excess capital that I wanted to do that with. But it's not a bad idea. Red Sox's idea is good I think.

On one hand I'm absolutely thrilled that I held on to my 100 shares of AMC but also I'm a fool and bought at $14 so this latest development is probably going to at absolute best allow me to exit unscathed with maybe a little extra.

Took a while to catch up to all these posts. GME and AMC revival?! Im sure I would have lost tens of thousands of dollars if I was here a few hours ago.

Anyway, Im still going to be away for a bit. Just wanted to drop by and check on things. And dont worry, I only lost 7% on DNN. I panic sold once I realized I had $90k instead of $70k in it. Havent done any trades since I last posted. Probably wont do any until things die down at work.

Whats the dividend? You may have posted this already but I didnt have time to look through everything. Im going back to hectic work mode tomorrow.

You'd get $1.24 per year per share. Dividend is $0.31

Of course pre-covid it was doing $0.62, so $2.48 per share, and I think it's going to rapidly head back to pre-covid levels in the next couple of years.

It was way too aggressive a bet. I think it was for the best to close it early. Even if he did double his money, if he goes down this road of YOLOs he will eventually suffer devastating losses.
