Calwings 04/09/21 5:00:00 PM #303:	Quite a busy day of new episodes for me today. * Dr. Stone: Stone Wars ep6 (dub): Kind of ironic that an episode of a Japanese anime has one of the best and most realistic depictions of the American justice system that I've ever seen. Awesome episode though, one of Chrome's crowning moments. * Back Arrow ep14: Fine Alter and Emperor Zetsu are a perfect pair of complete fucking psychopaths, but Fine regained control and had a badass moment of her own. Best boy Shu's genius mind comes through again as well. Great stuff. * Shaman King (2021) ep2: I never watched/read the original series all those years ago, so I'm coming into this reboot completely blind like I did the Fruits Basket reboot. Yoh and Amidamaru are great, Ren is so comically early-2000's edgy that I can't help but laugh at it, and Anna already seems pretty interesting too. Manta is annoying though, and the animation seems pretty mediocre so far, so it's not all good, but I'm enjoying it overall. * The World Ends With You ep1: I played the original game, but I never beat it and barely remember much of it anyways, so this anime is basically a new experience for me. The story felt pretty rushed (like Assault Lily levels of rushed) but at least it seems interesting so far. Didn't really expect ~~him to go back at the end, I imagine he's going to be jumping back and forth in time.~~ I'm going to try to pick up at least three or so shows this season. I'll likely watch Nagatoro next. Kind of want to watch Blue Reflection but I want to play the game first, I have it on PS4 and it's been on my backlog forever. Also @Juhanor I got to when Souther is first introduced in FOTNS. He seems pretty badass, probably the deepest voice I've ever heard in anime. ~~Also have to pour one out for my boy Rei.
