This series isn't just full of cool mecha battles, but it's full of emotions too. You will cry during it. There's a lot of sadness, but there's also hope. It's such an awesome but underrated series, and pretty obscure. But it does have a dedicated fanbase. Episode 7 was decent and episode 11 was actually pretty funny, but the others bored me out of my skull with how dull they were and how many obscure references that I didn't get. I don't know what the hell the writer/director were trying to do with those other episodes, but it didn't work for me at all. You won't regret it. By the way I watched the new Back Arrow episode. Pretty good. I love the part where Muga turns into a sword with boosters and Elsha does an ittou ryoudan with it. I think it could be a Super Robot Taisen reference because Sanger with his Grungust Type 0 and his DyGenGuar uses a giant sword that he slices enemies with. His Reishiki Zankantou in particular has boosters on the back that activates when he slices with it. Luckily, I really like Fire Emblem and similar fantasy stories, so I'm totally fine with this and I'm enjoying Hortensia Saga a lot. The man himself is Japanese, but his gimmick seems to be a weird cross between a Jiangshi (a type of reanimated corpse from Chinese folklore) and a Mongolian emperor.
