Calwings 03/01/21 12:19:14 PM #57:	I watched the Revue Starlight compilation movie last night, but I needed to take some time to collect myself and sleep on it before I talked about it. The visuals were greatly improved all around, almost every song used in a revue had a new remix for the movie, and one revue song was simply swapped out for another one that came out after the TV anime.. As for the story itself... not much really changed from the TV version. Two revues were swapped in the order, and one of Hikari's flashbacks (which included a major plot point being revealed) was moved to earlier in the story. Compared to the show that I fell in love with, it was just as beautiful in movie form, and it was so great to relive it. The only major change in the story was the new ending, which is no longer an ending, but the beginning of a new story to be told in the sequel movie still to come. I'm not going to go into the details of what exactly happened at the end of this movie, but I'm going to leave a brief summary of my thoughts on it, which would be... The pacing was extremely fast and a lot of material, world building and character development wise was skipped over. But at the same time I can understand why considering the battle the final episodes covered. Oh well. When I originally tried watching the show subbed, I didn't think it was funny and dropped it, but I said that I would give it another chance if/when it got dubbed.
