What does free speech mean, by your definition? Because people having their lives ruined over speech that you could just choose to ignore, isn't free speech. And people being forced to speak into an empty room so as not to get cancelled, definitely isn't free speech either. So I'm interested to hear what your definition is.

She is being disproportionately punished for it though. I mean, she already lost her job, and her means for further employment in her field. Seems a bit overblown for a few opinions that really shouldn't offend any reasonable adult. I mean, she refused to put pronouns in her bio :0 and then she gave a historical analysis on how the German government made their people hate each other before and during WW2. Seems to me that if people didn't like what she posted on her Twitter, then they maybe should have blocked her. They didn't have to go out of their way to ruin her life.

I agree to there being some egregious "cancellations", but in Gina Carano's case it wasn't "one small little thing" (or something from her past as the case sometimes may be), it was dozens and dozens repeatedly over a period of time while she was actively employed in major projects and should've known she had a lot to lose
