Has anyone calculated how many lanterns you need to craft/how many times you need to play this mode to clear everything out?

I kinda wonder why the game has to go through two different "click to continue" prompts on the title screen. The second one literally just shows us a door and nothing meaningful happens that couldn't just happen by going straight into the game. I guess it's artistic, but I could do without it. Especially since, for now, we have no understanding of the greater world and just think of this as a story taking place in Teyvat (outside of the intro cutscene.)

I like it. Particularly when the level it gives you has two very distinct lanes. Another set of eyes can help with observing the field too. The event seems to be set up to be fairly forgiving without it though.

Oh good wasn't just me who noticed this. I saw a post on Twitter today and was like that's a cool picture of Dainsleif but it was actually a Guilty Gear Strive post

Did some coop runs with @azuarc . Easy but waaaay more fun than solo.

I got the mission to go to Liyue so I ran all the way there through the mountain. Pretty cool areas, definitely keeps the game fresh as Mondstadt was getting stale.

Also I haven't done much with my weapons or artifacts at all in the last few hours of gameplay... way better than constantly opening the menu every few minutes to clean things up and min-max equipment

Literally stared at my inventory for like 20 mins trying to decide what I should do today with my resin. So much on my to-do list:

1. Get Venti to Lv. 80/90 so I can level up his Q talent. I want to get this out of the way now if I decide to pull for Xiao.
2. Farm for mora. Currently at 3 mil. BP is about to start up again, too. Id like to have 10-15 mil. Ill need a lot to level up talents to 9 and 10.
3. Farm for EXP books. I have 33 Heros Wits, so running dry. Ill need more to get Venti to 80.
4. Farm for Thundersoother Sands and Feather for Keqing.
5. Farm for Crimson Witch Crit Dmg/Rate helmet and Sands for Diluc.
6. Farm for Petra/Bolide pieces cause I barely have any.

It's been 2 weeks now:

1. Done and done. Venti 80/90, Xiao 90.
2. 3.7 mil... not much.
3. 3 Hero's Wits now... =(
4. Got a pretty good feather to +20, a good Atk% Sands still hasn't dropped.
5. Haven't even started.
6. Actually did, and got some potentially good pieces for Zhongli.

Trying to do 1.6 on the first stage. A Ruin Hunter always manages to randomly fly 8000mph and escape keeping me from a perfect clear :(

Ruin Hunter seem to have burst movement where they just dash past my constructs. After about three runs, though, I got a different stage that didn't spawn them

I wonder if its best to just like have 2-3 towers up front and mines and shit all in the center for the Ruin enemies. Surely somebody must have map tower strats somewhere for all the stages

It is important to note when doing the new stage with two portals to defend that pyro towers placed on the edges near the portals have the range to hit the lower path

With the internet outage in my area continuing throughout the day, I eventually resorted to doing my dailies and the new event content via my phone's hotspot. It took a good while to get past the Downloading data screen, but everything else was totally normal, which was nice.

Tomorrow or the day after I should also hit AR55 and the final WL increase.

Still the first 4, with Kaeya as main DPS and Geo MC for shields. The only 2 characters I've wished are Noelle and Xiangling and I haven't used either much. I do like Xiangling but I need an archer so Amber is staying in until I get another.

I just added Barbara in to replace Lisa so we'll see how that goes. Electro is super useful for DPS but I guess so is Hydro.

Abyss is something I keep ignoring. Gotta stop doing it, but theres so much else to do and I dont really have 8 worthwhile characters leveled still

It's free primogems once you've done it once, because you know you can after that.

What do you mean by the latter thing?

The battle pass is the battle pass. The daily/weekly missions are good excuses to keep you on track with interacting with most of the game mechanics. Obviously worth more if you pay into it (and some of the weapons are quite nice to have), but it is ultimately just a small boost in progression either way. The best value remains the Welkin Moon deal.

The real cash grab is the gacha rates, the battle pass is just a neat little extra that people dipping their toes into spending can enjoy.

Ok this works pretty well. I beat the event boss with Kaeya at level 33 and GeoMC, Xiangling, Barbara in the early 20s. Took some cheese but wasn't too bad.

Completed all challenges for Guests Flock From Afar, by an inch. That last wave almost got me.

New map is easy. Put a hydro and cryo up front at each entrance. An electro behind them, and then a pyro a little back. 4 towers at each of 3 entrances = 12 total. Can use an anemo character to swirl and stall, but it isn't needed if you don't take any challenge arts.
