I hope that instead of just churning out orthodox left wing talking points that we can get from any other site that they actually produce compelling content. A left wing version of PragerU is bad. PragerU makes videos that are convincing to those who are uneducated on the subjects. They aren't outright lies but they are heavily biased and spun to fit PragerU's agenda. Leftists are obviously able to do this exact same thing but to push their own agenda.

This is a question we ask ourselves in business school when examining non-governmental organization and activism. Who benefits from PragerU spreading its agenda, and who benefits from Gravely?

PragerU stakeholders:
-The ultra rich and business/capital owners
-Industries with massive negative externalities (fossil fuel vs climate change)
-Evangelicals

Gravel I stakeholders:
-Working class
-Women (bodily autonomy to not carry a man's fetus to term)
-Anybody who doesn't believe explicitly in a vengeful God who allows people to be born "sinful" (gay, out of wedlock, mixed race)
-The scientific consensus
-Non-whites

Yes, but the trick is in showing that, not just presenting it the way PragerU presents it. You have to correct PragerU, not refute it. Specially to the sort of people PragerU has convinced, good luck with that. This of course is more work and a little more complicated work. But it'd be truly praiseworthy if they can do it.

These people are willing to cut their nose to spite their face or whatever. That's the reality we have. They're willing to do things that are bad for them if it's also bad for others. That's the mentality we're "working" with here.

So they will always support PragerU and its ideology. Because they don't WANT to not support it. They don't want to be right, to put it simply. They want to be wrong. This is something we all have to understand someday. Some people want to be wrong. They like being wrong. Don't ask me how that works, but that's how it is.

I mean we know the exact reason why, of course. Because they don't care about anything or anyone except themselves. They want what they want regardless of reality. Reality, truth, is just some obscure, vague, often inconvenient, sometimes even scary thing beyond their noses. They don't wanna deal with it. So you could show them reality, you could cock slap them with reality, and they wouldn't care.

It's a cool idea but PragerU's influence is less about style and more about the sheer volume of adspace they scope out. If Gravel means out to beat them at their own game, then they need some serious capital.

Because the white conservative fantasy is that social programs are an invention of Marxists [atheists / anti-christians] to hand out incentives to minorities [lazy underclass not fit to rule] so that they vote for the Marxists.

Opposition to social welfare is a racist policy. It begins by denying systemic racism, that past slavery and oppression is over so now all minorities are obviously on an equal playing field with whites. The conservatives paint these policies as intending to benefit just minorities. So social welfare is "stealing" from the whites to give to minorities who are claimed to already be on an equal playing field and just need to be 'propped up' due to an inherent laziness or inferiority.

Ultimately this stuff is about denying one's white privilege so that you can keep it in tact.

I hate to say it, but the sound quality really kills it for me. It sounds like he recorded it in an underground sex dungeon. Which, I guess, only serves to prove the point that Praeger's slick presentation fallaciously is interpreted as truthful and unbiased.
