I'm pretty retro so I play old games pretty often. Before the lockdown I would frequent a barcade and play Gauntlet Legends, Street Fighter 2 and 3, Tekken and Soul Calibur (can't remember which ones they had), and whatever else tickled my fancy that particular day. Every so often I'll do another SMB run just for kicks (1, 2, and 3), or maybe a Super Metroid or Zelda 3. Or maybe dip into the Igavanias or the Mega Man series.

I can go on and on. But yeah, I play a lot of old school shit.

I miss Soul Calibur 2 and Gauntlet Legends

Be wary of being connected to the Internet while running it, since I believe it tries to install the Reforged patch automatically and that breaks the original game in a lot of ways (like using the most recent TFT balance patch stats for units in the original campaign). You may need to do some manual patching, since apparently Blizzard thinks it's okay to mess with existing copies of a 15-year-old game (unless they fixed that due to the backlash).

It really is. I don't know exactly where the whole issue stands right now, but it's turned me off of buying any further Blizzard products. If I can't trust that the games I'm buying won't be screwed up a decade down the line for no reason, I see no reason to buy them.

Completed Phantasy Star 4 earlier this year. It was the game that really made me into a gamer back in the late 90s when I first played it so I figured it was well overdue for me to actually finish the main story.

Also, Tales of Vesperia (PS4) if it counts. Although, it is technically the PS3 version which I don't know if it was released before 2010.

Due to this topic, I just downloaded Kirby's Dream Land and played it for the first time in a long time. It looks like it'll be fairly hard on the expert mode (which I've never beaten).

Started a playthrough of VIII on Switch.

I'm 6 years into a Madden 2004 Franchise career with the Packers. I've traded Brett Favre for Tom Brady, signed Terrell Owens and loaded up on picks.

I'm halfway through a playthrough of Suikoden 2 on my PS Vita, but I can't find my charger anymore.
