I just used the rescue service for the first time.

Leif/Saharah/Kicks are no longer guaranteed every week. And if I'm reading that right, it also means everyone is guaranteed to show up at least once every two weeks. Another minor change is the bug/fishing competitions don't remove Friday visitors by pushing KK up a day, as now he's pushed back to Sunday on those weeks.

I didn't realize this at first, but being able to swim now allows visitors to get around fences by diving off the pier. I know some people will fence the airport area while doing deals to prevent random people from exploring unsupervised.

Just got the game. I picked the island that has the rivers creating an island in the middle along with three land masses surrounding it. The downside is I'm initially stuck on the bottom left part. The good news is the new update allows me to swim so I'm currently building the museum on the bottom right section so I don't overcrowd my starting area. Still need to wait for a ladder to travel everywhere.

I was also taunted with a balloon package before I bought a slingshot...

I got him with my second scallop yesterday, but my inventory was already full when I got the first one, so maybe that's why he didn't show up then.

lol one of my friends hasn't gotten a meteor shower announcement yet, we keep telling her she probably just missed them or something, she now found out her weather seed, she's had no showers since she started playing and none until august 2021

This update changed the weather patterns so stars can spawn more often. I didn't have an announced shower, but I still got 13 stars a couple nights ago, with many more that I missed because I was swimming or not looking up. Plus my friend had Celeste that night and I got three more wishes in on his island. Got three cancer fragments so yay cancer table.

I noticed there are only three different wetsuits currently (plus color variants), and that's not enough variety. They should've had Gullivarr give out a pirate/sailor-theme wetsuit and Pascal a mermaid/underwater-theme one. Maybe even slip in a new DIY for Celeste for some kind of star/alien-theme wetsuit.
