maybe Kammy Koopa too

and definitely Valentina from SMRPG because I would lead a very successful nomination rally for her

I had to look up a few and then when I did it turned out that half of them were characters from games I finished, I just forgot about them/forgot their name (Cia, Lady Maria, Eveline).

Totally unfamiliar with Junko, SHODAN, and Carmelita though. so I knew 29 or 26 of 32.

I can't believe I remembered Cackletta, of all characters, and completely forgot about Kammy Koopa.

And speaking of spoilers, there's another huge one I forgot, from Link Between Worlds: Hilda. She's basically Dark Zelda, which means she's 1 seed material and probably the favorite to win the whole thing.

Now I'm wondering how many more divisions I could squeeze out before getting to bottom-of-the-barrel stuff like the female Pac-Man ghost.

theres rathian, andariel, sniper wolf, mileena, shadow rise, nurse (silent hill), succubus or other from castlevania, and maybe female rocket grunt for some probably not fodder

cloud of darkness, queen slug for a butt, risky boots, and hrist for some low seeds

and spooky for a bottom seed that i would be rallying for

Doubtful, though I do expect there to be a bonus poll pitting the champion against Majora's Mask. And since we all expect Breath of the Wild to win this one, it'd actually be a worthwhile match!

Pokemon in a modern Series Contest would absolutely be stronger today than it showed in 2006. Back in 2006, Pokemon was still in its darkest years and hadn't fully reached its peak strength on this site yet. There's no way I'd pick Pokemon to lose to Metroid now like it did in 2006.

Also, Pokemon in a modern Series Contest would be able to draw in votes from people who haven't played a Pokemon game past Gen 2, so it would be stronger as a series than any game after Gen 2.

Pokemon would definitely be stronger in a modern day series contest, but that's got nothing to do with what Pokemon has done since then. That's all due to the site's opinion on the series shifting to having nostalgia for the first few generations. It would definitely be Top 10, probably even Top 5, but there's no way I would take it over Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, and Smash. It's those four series, and everyone else is a good distance from them.
