As someone who loves animals enough to own two pet rats, a dog and 2 cats, everyone in this topic getting upset at the TC is pathetic, what TC did is tame and hardly any worse than what another animal would do if it got hold of it.

Besides mice breed like crazy and become a real problem left unchecked.

Shit, even mouse traps have a rate of failure that break their spines instead of their necks, keeping them alive until they die of shock or hunger. TC's actions towards a pest aren't PETA-worthy.

Sure, but driving the trap far enough that the trouble doesn't come back is a needless hassle, especially considering the mouse will probably be dead in a couple of days anyway if you leave it in the open. You'renly leaving it out for another animal to finish the job. Why do you think it was seeking shelter to begin with?

Also, I don't see peoole taking this much effort to stop an insect invasion like ants or cockroaches, so I can't really understand the double standard. Is it because mice are mammals?

I've probably done worse than the TC though seeing as I actually beat one to death with a walking stick before, in my house.

Mice get the same treatment as bugs in my house--well bugs that aren't spiders, they're free to stay and do their job.
