As the previous poster said, the franchise originally started as a line of figures and there are also two light novel stories, but the anime will most likely be an original story. I'm mostly excited for it because it's more "cute girls doing action things" animated by the same studio that did Madoka Magica. CoolMaskGuy posted... I was going to start Railgun T myself but I'll probably wait on that since I heard the second half is delayed until July. They made it to the end of the first major arc that this season was going to cover (Daihasei Festival) before they delayed the second major arc (Dream Ranker) to July, so they at least reached a good stopping point in the story to not leave a massive cliffhanger. The English simuldub is still 6 episodes behind though, so you're definitely better off waiting if you'd rather watch it dubbed. I've been watching the whole franchise (Index, Railgun, and Accelerator) dubbed and I think it has a great dub overall. Touma, Misaka, Accelerator, and most of the supporting cast sound really good. My favorite thing about the dub is that Brittney Karbowski voices all of the different versions of Misaka by herself, unlike in the Japanese version where they all have different voice actresses. Despite them having such drastically different personalities (Mikoto's tomboyishness, the Sisters' emotionless deadpan, Last Order's innocent hyperactivity, and Worst's psychotic battle lust) they're still *Index/Railgun spoilers* ~~literally biological clones of the same character~~ so it makes sense for them to have the same voice, and Karbowski shows some incredible range by voicing them all on her own. In fact, this is actually the show/franchise that solidified her as my #1 favorite English dub voice actress. Though it was fun, but also felt pretty unusual, like it's an end of one big adventure instead of the very beginning. Pretty curious about how the storyline with ~~Azalie~~ will go though. Famitsu comes out on the 4th IIRC, but leaks are usually seen day before. So probably later in the day/early night. Personally I never had a Sega system but over the years I've played a lot of their games thru collections and ports.
