I have no significant memory of "finding out" the truth it's just faith that gradually deteriorated...

... although maybe it was just obvious by the time my parents divorced and Santa would for some reason go through the trouble to deliver two sets of presents, like why even

I remember learning around 9 or 10 because I had the flu and slept on the couch in the living room where the tree was. I was waking up off and on all night and there were never any more presents under the tree or any evidence anyone had been there.

Like, 13 or 14 I think. I was so humiliated when I found out the truth, and lost some trust in my mom. She actually got me to believe in magic, which messed me up a bit.

Don't remember, probably around 9 years old. I remember that year I was questioning it & came up with a surprisingly clever way to test -- I'd ask for something so simple & generic that Santa should have no issues with, but also so specific & hard to find that my parents probably would -- Specifically, a yellow ball with blue spots. I probably even made a big deal about me really wanting it precisely like that (and also probably didn't have that much else on my list). Ultimately it didn't actually matter -- that very year I wandered into my parent's room on christmas eve because I had left a toy in there a few days before, and I saw this huge pile under their covers with a single little toy sticking out. I got that toy in my stocking the next day. Credit to my parents for their attempt with the ball though, I did get a yellow soccer ball with blue spots drawn in with marker.

Mightve been earlier than that. But yeah, my family was religious and superstitious, and I wasnt talking about this stuff at school or anything. And Im admittedly just dumb. idk what they were thinking by letting me believe for so long.

I knew from like 10 or so, but one thing always bothered me. One year when I was 7. I was in second grade. The whole family went to church. When we came back, Santa Claus had came. It only took me the courage a few years ago to ask my mother how the presents got there when both my parents were at church. She gave the neighbor a key to our house and told her where to put the presents.

My mother is an amazing woman.

Yeah I can't really remember.

Surely there was a time I did believe he was real but I think I figured it out on my own pretty quickly or just heard someone talk about it at a young age.

Basically something like this, but not sure on specifics cause I don't remember as it was never a big deal either way.

Like I think my mom half assed the idea that Santa existed in a wink wink nudge nudge kinda way but I don't think I ever actually believed fully nor was I led to.

my brother is six years younger and we had a whole fictional world built up around our toys. so I don't remember exactly, but probably through high school for me.

Star Rac the raccoon was the leader of his squad, and Talor the wolf was mine. we'd go on space missions together and stuff

The point where I stopped playing with toys I remember more vividly. I think I was 8 or 9. I used to make 2D block houses/dungeons overhead view using those letter blocks for my toys, basically making a map layout like an RPG and making my toys respect the walls-- anyway one day I finished making one, put my toys in it, and was like... "hum..." and didn't do anything with it because I was kinda bored.

I never played with toys again. It was kinda sad really.

Never believed, even though my family did do the tradition. I have specific memories at around age 6 of knowing the truth but not wanting to spoil it for the adults because they were having a lot of fun pretending the whole thing was real for me, so I played along. It just never made sense to me that it was possible, so I understood the whole thing to be a story, just like any other stories I read.

I believe it'd be when I was 13. I don't have a significant memory of when my parents told me, but it was basically just a "hey you've turned old enough that we don't need to get you everything you wanted, plus you need to do better in school, so there."
