There are less people in the entirety of Canada then there is in the state of California alone, so this won't work out for you as well as you think it will. As for Mexico there are over a 100 million of them, but Mexicans are overwhelmingly Catholic and they tend to be conservative. If anything this will have the opposite effect you are hoping for. That said I'm not opposed to the idea, not necessarily by force, the problem is Mexico speaks Spanish. Things never work out when a country has multiple languages spoken in it. There already issues with that in America. Then theres Quebec which speaks French and the rest of Canada fucking hates them.
