The weird thing is, but do take this with a grain of salt, since it came from the pig's mouth:

He said that he had an in during 2015-2016 to access to free games, but the reason he refused was: "he isn't special, he is not more than you and I". (Ironically, he is right about that, he is most certainly not more than the average person).

But you have to admire the train of thought here. Let's assume for a second that he is telling the truth, it makes him look really bad in 2 ways. Instead of being able to get games for free, he now is begging hard for them. But he refused because of some kind of moral superiority, but that moral superiority apparently does cover begging.

I really don't get Phil. Either it's the truth, and it makes him look bad instead of good (good guy Phil doesn't feel better than his audience, but does beg for games). Or he lied about the whole story in which case: what is the point?

I heard DSP doesn't even know how taxes work. He's blaming his tax guys for not knowing what taxes he needs to pay. Though, ultimately, its his responsibility to provide all paperwork to these people otherwise they're not going to know what he needs to pay.

I understand filing his taxes are definitely more complicated without a normal job, but I feel like he could save himself a lot of money if he spent a weekend just doing it himself. Yes, it's harder...but it's not impossible. The dude is constantly complaining about money and he could save himself $1,000 by buckling down and doing it himself.

This fits in with what I've seen from him. Accepting products from a big company is selling out. Begging strangers for money to buy the same products is perfectly fine.

Pretty much, and this actually comes close to the Onision bit with taxes.

For those who don't know, Onision is also a Youtuber, a massive narcissist like Phil and a child grooming predator. He is also dumber than a box of rocks. You see, Onision uses a program called Turbotax (I think Phil said the same thing) and he uses that to calculate his deductibles.

Now, the program only does the math, it doesn't validate what you are calculating. Now Onision has literally filed EVERYTHING as a deductible: his house(s), his car(s) even his fucking wedding AND DIVORCE. Everything you can possibly think of. He is now blaming Turbotax for not informing him. Result: he is being audited by the IRS for over 500.000 dollars or more. He takes zero responsibility for what he has done.

This sounds so fucking much like Phil, blaming everything under the sun, but not your own actions. Again, Turbotax only does the math. You put in a number, Turbotax makes the calculations BASED ON WHAT YOU PUT IN. It seems like Phil is kind of going down the same path. Something a lot of people seem to forget and use as an excuse: Having a business also gives you a lot of responsibilities. You have to properly file your taxes. Now, if you can't do that, you can always hire a CPA to do it for you. A tax lawyer isn't someone that helps you file your taxes, rather someone who specializes in laws regarding taxes.

Phil just blindly assumes that everything is okay, and blames his tax lawyer (not a very believable story) for the deficiencies. Any court will point out responsibilities you have as a business owner. You still have the responsibility, even if you let a CPA file your taxes for you, to provide them with the proper paperwork.

It doesn't sound like Phil have a CPA and even less that Phil knows what he is doing. I mean, I don't know much about economics and running a business, but running a business is not a right but a privilege, like driving a car. It comes with a slew of responsibilities else you are found liable. Seems to me that Phil just uses his "tax lawyer" as a scapegoat. If that ever goes anywhere, I doubt it'll hold much water.

This is why I don't believe that Phil is lying on purpose. He remembers bits and pieces and his mind just fills in the blanks. This is why every time he tells a story he has told before, details change.

The story is globally the same, but details (which are actually fucking important) change like it is going out of style. Notice that a lot of things are prefaced by Phil saying "a lot of people are saying...".

"A lot of people wanted a Project 7 reboot." "A lot of people didn't care about it."

This is how it always goes, Phil kind of uses this (in my humble opinion) as a scapegoat. If people ask him to play game that he doesn't like, it's their fault. If people to tell Phil to do something and he fails miserably, it's their fault. If people hype up a game, it's their fault, etc.

And it all kind of makes sense in a twisted kind of way. Nothing is ever his fault. It will be his mom's fault when the foreclosure saga goes tits up. It's John and Rambo's fault for not asking for money, it's their fault for falling out of touch.

It's the game's fault for having shitty controls, it's the internet connection's fault because of lag, it's the game's fault for dropping inputs. Hell it's even the game's fault for having graphics that are too good (yes this happened during DMC5).

It's Turbotax's fault for not filing his taxes properly. It's hist tax attorney's fault for not filing his taxes properly. Fuck, Phil at one point found someone to rent the CT Condo to, but the person dared to call Phil, rather than contact him by mail. So that never worked out, but not Phil's fault.

The trainingbike sage was another glorious example, he refused to take it apart, and then was upset he had to make time for it to get picked up, even though the company didn't have to do it, because Phil refused to comply with the refund policy.

The adsense ban is right up there, it's not his fault for telling his fans to click on ads, it the fault of the fans that they clicked the ads.

All "tough guy" stories Phil tells, never include him getting repercussions. His parents bail him out every fucking time, assuming that it is true. And then it shines like you said, either it is a lie and makes him look bad, or it is the truth and it makes him look bad.

I've probably said this before, but this is a typical narcissist trait: He doesn't feel guilt for exploiting the people who watch him, exploiting his friends and exploiting his parents. But he is susceptible to shame. If you call him out on anything scummy he has done, he will get very defensive.

I came across this site thanks to the farms. It shows his overall bans, and interestingly there are a couple of HUGE outliers. There were 451 bans on the day of the Jasper reveal. My guess that this is mostly people calling Phil out on his shit. 285 bans during the marriage reveal stream, 205 and 211 bans during really salty streams of Sonic Racing and MK11. The total bans is well over 7000. What you can also see is the last messages of the people banned. Really funny stuff is to be found.

My guess is, but bear in my that this is just a guess so take it with a little salt because I am extrapolating on know Phil behaviour.

Phil always gets his way, he begs, complains, hell, he'll even threaten to shut down the stream if people don't "talk to him". Every story he has told, whether true or not, always depict Phil getting his way. I am guessing his mom spoiled his little ass and threw a temper tantrum when he didn't get his way.

Now, I am guessing that Phil did the same thing with Amazon. We know he is not a reasonable person, his refusal to take apart the bike in question is a good example of this. So he will probably have thrown a tantrum, raising his voice or even outright yelling. Someone will probably recognize this kind of customer and just gave Phil his way, to be done with it.

And that is the irony with people like Phil, they don't deserve it, but they get what they want. Just act like a fucking asshole, and people will eventually cave. And if person A doesn't give Phil his way, he'll just call again and maybe person B will cave. Repeat till you get your way.

That was a load of bullshit in that Tweet. He did get games from sponsorships and did have help from others. As for his "hard work" bs, I don't consider filming raw gameplay and putting it on YouTube as "busting his fucking ass". LMAO!

I am convinced that Phil believes he works hard.

We all know that all he does is roll out of bed, eat something, sit his ass on that disgusting loveseat, and then bitch and moan all day while also occasionally playing a game.

Meanwhile people are working 70 hours a week to make ends meet, still try to support a family, tend to sick family members and fuck knows what more. But Phil, Phil works harder than any and all of them. Never mind the fact that he cleared over 100.000 dollars again this year, has two houses and more shit than anyone ever needs, HE is the one who is having a rough financial situation.

I know we talked about Phil isolating himself, which makes him talk weird (misusing words and phrases for example), but being in isolation, also hampered his ability to reflect and relate.

And as much Phil he earned everything, when you objectively look at the situation, Phil owns nothing. EVERYTHING he has is paid by his fans, the only "legitimate" income he has, is Youtube. Everything else is paid by subs, tips, cheers, donations of any kind really and Patreon. Everything Phil has, is paid by with money from others, even including his parents.
