I just need to transfer it to PS3, back up the save to my computer, convert it to a Java save, convert that to a Bedrock save, open it on W10 Minecraft, put it in a Realm and then access that on my Switch when I have an Online account. Easy. :P

I never cared about the game, I only ever dug some holes and made some crap houses to be honest. But I really liked one world I did on my PSTV. I lived in an underwater cave because the water didn't flow in for some reason. Of course, I'll probably find that breaks once I've moved the world.

Cool.

I still prefer to call it the Vita TV instead of PSTV, since that was the original name and they only changed it to whitewash the "Vita" aspect.

Moving the save may well break that, since that may cause the blocks to update and the water to realize it actually can move. That said, it's not impossible to make water behave like that deliberately. If you dig a 1-block deep trench along the edge of the cave (so the water outside the door pours straight into that trench instead of onto a flat surface that it can spread on), that should ensure that it keeps looking like that.

Have you tried getting the seed number, marking the coordinates and then going to the caves place on a newly generated map with the same seed?

If nothing else, the biomes will probably shift. Which can actually result in interesting things like snow in the desert.

Multiple updates since then likely guarantee that the seed won't generate the same world any more.

Most likely, but worth a try.

Won't work. The seed in the Vita version won't match what would be needed in the other versions.

Now, if you want to create an underwater cave like that in a new world, there are a few ways you can go about it. But working underwater is kind of a pain.

Now, if you want to create an underwater cave like that in a new world, there are a few ways you can go about it. But working underwater is kind of a pain.

Whenever I plan to do major underwater construction, I usually try to make an enchanting table ASAP, then enchant/anvil/save scum myself a helmet with Aqua Affinity and Respiration, and some boots with Depth Strider.

If you're playing on peaceful (with regenerating health) you literally cannot drown, and even if you're playing on higher difficulty it still gives you way more time to work before you need to pop out for air. Aqua Affinity removes the speed penalty for breaking blocks underwater, and Depth Strider lets you move at normal speed so you can get around more effectively.

It may also help to bring a door with you. They seem to have fixed the old trick method of getting air underwater (ie, put a torch on a wall underwater and it creates a quick bubble of air before the torch pops off), but you can still put a door down and create a permanent air bubble area you can pop into and recover oxygen when you need to, if you're down low and can't really swim up to the surface every single time.
