For me, my whole life the music I would listen to most frequently is songs from anime openings and endings, eventually branching out to other songs by those groups, as well as recently listening to songs by seiyuu (Japanese voice actors). Outside of that, video game soundtracks and sometimes movie soundtracks always made me comfy. Outside of the above two, some occasional K-pop, maybe some American pop, and even more rarely some classical piano pieces when I was learning the piano. I feel my taste in music has always been very narrow though, and most of the above genres I listed Ive almost never listened to.
