He is clearly breaking the law. If he doesn't bake cakes with two women on top of it .. that is one thing. People can't say he has to make that. Just for them. Minor nitpick: For it to be considered discrimination, avoid worded cakes. They could easily say "I wouldn't write that for anyone", and win the case. It's when they refuse a cake they WOULD make for someone else that they are discriminating.

yes. that wasn't pertinent in the supreme court ruling but that was a fact of the case. i'm of the opinion that a bakery needs to be willing to sell the stuff on its shelves to whoever walks through the door but shouldn't be required to make a special creation. i hope they win this case with a straight forward answer from the supreme court.

We have freedom of religion laws too. Wait. I thought the SCOTUS only ruled that they violated his right to a fair and neutral hearing as members of the commission openly displayed bigotry and hostility to religion. Whether or not his 1st Amendment rights take priority over Colorado's civil rights law in regards to custom orders has yet to be answered.
