Saying that the AFC has no good teams feels like a glass half empty sort of attitude. Sure there is no perfect dominant team but there are at least 6 very good teams. They all have different strengths and weaknesses which I feel will make the AFC playoffs very interesting this year.

4 above average ones but nothing above that. I feel it's shaky to even say there's one AFC team better than the Bears, who are the NFC's #3.

Steelers don't count at all btw.

I've had the sneaking suspicion for a while that the Chiefs will be fool's gold come playoff time, and last night was another example.

This team can't close the big games. It'll end them in the playoffs, just like last year when they choked the 21-3 to the Titans at home.

14 of which the Bears special teams handed them because they had a terrible game. The defense did enough to win that game without special teams screwing the pooch.

I picked the Pats when that game happened in week 7 but if it happened now I'd pick the Bears just FYI.

TEXANS: Lead the AFC South by 2 games. Must win/tie to clinch the division this week.
JETS: Already eliminated.

BROWNS: Will be eliminated if they lose. Cannot be eliminated this week if they win.
BRONCOS: Cannot be eliminated this week if they win, but a loss/tie alone will not eliminate them.

COLTS/TITANS: Cannot be eliminated from the division race this week if the Texans lose.

This game was lost entirely by the Broncos offense as a whole if this score holds.

Gave the Browns 7 in the second half and couldn't close a single drive of their own.

That field goal was kind of eh, but might've been necessary with an offense that can't finish.

Kinda don't expect them to get the ball back after though.

So the Steelers are coming off of a loss to the Raiders, have generally played poorly the last few weeks, are missing Conner, and Ben is going to be played with cracked ribs.

The Patriots are coming off of a last second debacle loss to Miami, are going to be pissed off, and are going to want to win to keep that first round bye in contention.

One of two outcomes happens here. Either the Steelers win because that seems like the outcome that makes the least sense given the above information and the Patriots seemingly only lose when the outcome is the one that makes the least sense, OR the Patriots win by two TDs and the game is over after the first quarter.

Those are the only possible scenarios as far as I'm concerned and they seem equally as likely.
