People do that? Lol its weird but they can do whatever they want with their money. The whole point of Disney world is that its supposed to bring smiles to peoples faces. So I dont think Walt Disney himself would find it sad that people go there without children

lol @ that pic but it does sketch me out when i see grown ass adults really into going to disneyworld.

besides getting blasted in epcot, what is there to do for a childless adult in disneyworld? i have some friends from school who are disney freaks now and it always seems really unsettling to watch them get "autographs" from teenagers in costumes and shit like that

not really. she is someone who both is happy she has her family but deep down regrets that it limits her so she's projecting that on people who aren't limited rather than admitting to herself that she made decisions that changed her life and she needs to learn to adapt to those changes, not expect others to cater to her.

that said, as for the title, I think its fine. Adults can have fun there too. The rides are fun for all ages, there's a lot to do there...I do think people who are obsessed with it can be kind of weird about it sometimes, though. not all, but some.

Idk, enjoy rides that millions have before rhat are iconic in our culture like it is a small world afterall duff beer for me duff beer for you and also the haunted mansion, laser show, and less kiddie rides.

True, it is mostly little trains but if you not been before you can enjoy it ornif not been in ages.

Tl;dr, it is an american icon to see much like other things as the grand canyon etc

I'd recommend everyone experience Disney World as childless couples first. The parks are open quite late, and childless couples can take advantage of that. Plus go to any restaurants, especially the fancier or more culturally diverse since kids can be so damn picky. Partake in the Drinking Around the World challenge in Epcot (drunk Disney is a thing).

My wife and I went last week. We saw tons of other childless adult couples. They all looked happy.

It was the couples trying to manage their annoying ass children that looked miserable.

There's plenty for adults to do. Magic Kingdom is really the only park that's mainly geared towards children but even that has shit like Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion, plus the fireworks show every night is something everyone should experience once.

Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot are all very adult-friendly.

I never went when I was a kid. Went with my wife when we were in our mid-twenties. We had an absolute blast. It's a really fun place.

Now I have two kids, and I am not looking foward to the inevitable trip with them. It's going to be so exhausting.

I get where that lady is coming from, but seriously. Somebody get her a drink.

Part of me says it's weird, but part of me doesn't since I've been there before(when I was 13) and it just had that vibe and atmosphere to where I could totally understand why someone would go. Hell, sometimes I want to go back.

The bigger problem is the author of that post is insane. Hopefully it was just a joke post though.

I enjoy Disney World a lot and I'm 29. There are tons of things to do out there. I prefer Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure though. They've got much more thrilling rides. They have a Simpsons themed land with Duff beer. Then a ton of Harry Potter stuff. They're working on a Nintendo themed land that could be open in 3-5 years.

Of course, Disney has tons of new stuff coming too. There is a Tron themed roller coaster coming to Tomorrowland and a Guardians of the Galaxy themed roller coaster coming to Epcot.

I think it's weird when adults go without kids because I view it as a kind of stunted youth thing, but whatever makes 'em happy.

I went two years ago with the fiance's extended family (3 kids) and hated absolutely every minute. Long lines, garbage rides and attractions made for kids, shitty food, I generally don't drink, and I really don't care about Disney. Never going again.

It is.

The only real negatives at Disney World are all the parents with three seats strollers and fat fucks that think they have a "disability" on scooters rolling around like they own the place. Fat is not a disability and your 10 year old is big enough to walk their own ass around the park. Stop getting in everyone else's way because you're too busy looking at your phone to pay attention to the monster vehicle you're shoving/driving around.

Holy shit yes

And they're always the ones who abruptly stop in the middle of the fucking street and we almost crashed into so many of them because we were walking at an actual normal pace for people who are trying to get their money's worth before the place closes.
