there are some theories that the earth used to be surrounded by a huge water bubble thing that caused greenhouse like effects

Are you talking about the biblical firmament or is this something else?

maybe there was more land mass originally with the sea level being lower? it would flood the land then slowly drain into the oceans so there would still be flooding for a while

I guess if it were uniform flooding all at once, maybe. But if all that water is up that high above the atmosphere and it all starts falling...
I'm no meteorologist but I figure it would eventually just turn into a massive cloud before it hits the ground and then it would start raining. Like that whole situation has serious implications for the Earth's weather and climate. A single, planet-encompassing thunderstorm. I imagine it would not function like a typical thunderstorm, to say the least.

And then there's the fact that we have no evidence of this Earth-encompassing flood or lower sea levels from just 4000 years ago.

If God can flood the Earth with water, why should he not be able to remove the water afterwards?
That said, if you want evidence that is more realistic...

It seems like we got enough water to flood bigger parts of the planet.

Evidence suggests that it does exist. All of the worlds major religions also refer to the great flood, so there is already reason enough to historically support the story.

Tbh, if you are trying to disprove Christianity, it seems like you chose the wrong topic.

Also, the Titanic was a luxury ship which had massive ballrooms, gymnasiums, onboard swimming pools, dining halls, and theaters. Not to mention every passenger had a massive room.

Noahs Ark was not billed as a luxury cruise and it was assumed that it was probably a tight fit.

Tell her:

There isn't even enough water on the Earth to completely flood it to begin with ( https://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/2013/09/rising-seas-ice-melt-new-shoreline-maps/ )

It's impossible to propagate a species from only a single mating pair

The task of acquiring two of every land animal on the entire planet and fitting them on a single ark is a task akin to Santa Clause going to every Christian child's house in one night and storing all of those toys in a single bag

It was clearly an embellished story of a major but localised flood and Noah probably saved like, a farm

I feel your third point is most accurate. I think a huge flood may have occurred and perhaps some dude named "noah" toughed it out. But legends end up growing far beyond themselves.

Critically, there's no reason to accept the claim that it happened. Religions/mythologies as we know them started forming when people stopped moving around and settled in one place. They would settle near water because water is super important. But places with bodies of water are also prone to flooding, which was probably a fairly novel experience for former nomads. Naturally, that led to an increase in flood stories being made and passed down in their cultures. Hell, water in general typically plays a significant role in most creation stories as well for this same reason.

Science has already proven that the flood happened but it was nowhere close to global scale. A massive lake was flooded by the ocean due to rising sea levels and the erosion of the small land strip that had previously separated them. Sediment and fossil samples proved that the modern sea in question (can't remember if black sea or Mediterranean) was once fresh water. This is why local religions from that region have flood stories, but others, such as native American and eastern religions do not. There were unaffected by the occurrence.

The ark most likely did exist, however I would be a bit surprised if they had advanced technology and instead of having two of every animal, they had 2 of every animals dna male and female. After many years of disease, faminie, natural disasters, wars, destruction of the great library of alexandria, instituions like the vatican and the fact they out right murder anyone who practiced science. The ark came to rest somewhere in the middle east after the flood. So we are supposed to believe that the animals on the ark walked from there, back to their natural habitats, leaving no record of their migration in the fossil record? So I'm supposed to believe that penguins in the middle east walked all the way back to arctic picking up their dead as they went? Get the fuck out of here.

Another problem is that people forget that enough water to flood the earth would screw the ocean's salinity levels, so the water wouldn't be habitable for most marine life and freshwater life, so all water dwelling animals would have to be on the ark too. That would require an aquarium as deep as the ocean itself since some animals live at crazy depths.

Also, we discover new species all the time now in the modern day. How the fuck was some dingus thousands of years ago able to know about them to collect them?

God was about to magic away all life on the planet because it was a failure, but at the last moment he found somebody that still had faith.
So he put that man to a test to see if it was still worth it to keep humanity alive.
Noah proved that humanity was still worth keeping, so God continued the experiment.
