I'm glad you did. Your phrasing works to include those of us who are genderqueer & sometimes feminine as well as anyone who is or permanently identifies as female. Works for me.

As for the shaving issue, I rarely bother where legs are concerned, though that is at least partly because I struggle physically to do it (I can't bend forward past a certain point without my spine starts to try to unhook and my legs go numb).

Anyway, aesthetically, none of my past partners of any gender have minded, and my current gf doesn't worry about it either. Besides which, my dress style tends to long poofy skirts & vintage dresses when I'm femme, and I'm a wheelchair user, so not a lot of people look far enough down to see my legs. =P

Not at all and we should be thanking them-if they're the sort of person that wants to be hairy then I want to know up front so I can avoid them. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not for me.
The last thing you want is for them to start off smooth then get hairy as they get comfortable...

It certainly is. Quite apart from its not being accurate in application to anyone... Besides, the term you chose is more broadly inclusive of those of us here who are female only sometimes, which "female-passing" would not have been. Stick with what you've got, BC, you're doing well enough from where I sit.

As for your ignorant following claim, Chewster, there are more trans people on GFAQs than you realise, and they deserve the same basic level of respect and dignity as anybody else gets around here.

Who even are you? I've been here for more than a decade and probably know better than you that there have been several transgender posters around here. I can see why "female passing" sounds bad but I was just spitballing quickly there, sorry. However, "presenting females" is horrible phrasing no matter what you think, it sounds like something about animal sex

Theyre not obligated, but I'm not obligated to look, or compliment them either... and i may even say that theyre pretty hairy and they should shave em or something that they might find rude, cause it offends my senses Lol.

True enough, but it's certainly worlds better than "passing" with all its transphobic baggage!

Anyway... One way or another, though I spent a long time doing little but lurking and voting in PotD, I've been on this site for many, many years - I even remember the old blue layout from before the site was bought by CNET! I believe the first FAQ I came to look up was about Final Fantasy X, when I was trying to figure out how to get the Celestial Weapons. Goodness, that's a long time ago. Nearly half my lifetime, in fact...

In short, my current GFAQs account may date from 2012, but that doesn't default to its being my first account, and that's a silly assumption to make. Besides which, what does longevity of tenure here have to do with one's knowledge of the forums and their people anyway? I know several people who have accounts just to contribute to the site proper and hardly ever bother with any of the forums.

Though the daft assumption does have me wondering now just how many people here are still using the accounts or usernames they began with. Maybe I should start an offshoot thread about it =P

Tl;dr: I've been on the site for about 16 years, so don't even start trying to claim how long you've been a member as relevant, it isn't.

Your opinion is totally irrelevant. It's a pretty amazingly self-centred view of the world to assume anybody upon whom you vent your hangups would care what you think!

Goodness knows I wouldn't, nor any non-shaving femme I know. Even many femme people who do shave don't do it for other people or their opinions, but for themselves and their own comfort (comfort also being a reason why I don't; I prefer not to itch or to rip off layers of my skin just to meet somebody else's ideas of how I ought to look).

If you read what I posted, you'd see I was specifically stating how they are not equivalent.

A hairy asshole isn't visible to the public so it's irrelevant to social expectations, but legs are acceptable to display and regularly done. If you are showing something to the public, you should have a social obligation to keep it in a decent state. While you're welcome to leave yourself with man legs, but men are welcome to note you as man-legged and not treat you as feminine as someone with feminine features.

And since you feel the need to turn this in to ridicule of me, I'd like to point out that anybody who'd tolerate your head hair wouldn't have any issue dealing with your legs.
