He told the media he was given a "second chance" at life after surviving the shooting when he hid in the bathroom as whacko, David Katz opened fire on other gamers after being eliminated from the competition. He was killed in a single vehicle wreck near Corpus Christi and was among the participants in the Madden NFL 19 tournament in Jacksonville He crawled into a bathroom with his gaming competitor and hid from gunfire. Texas Dept of Public Safety Sgt. Nathan Bradley said he lost control of his vehicle where his car overturned and crashed into railroad tracks. He was not wearing a seatbelt and that could have saved his life as he was EJECTED from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene Just less than 2 weeks ago he shared a photo of him again playing video games during a break and said "Just doing what i love to do god gave me a second life and i'm enjoying every sigle minute of it" In an interview during his experience of the shooting he said he was Praying and telling his competitor "Don't worry, stay with me". 24 y/o David Katz killed 2 people and wounded 11 others before taking his own life Alema said people were crying as many gamers were wounded from the shooting. He passed 3 bodies on the floor and immediately hailed a cab to fly back to his home in Texas as the horrifying experience was something he didn't want to endure again.
