It's got a pretty cute minimalist art style, and I kinda remember that the story and unit backgrounds were fairly well written, with most being on the depressing side. Calwings 09/03/18 3:12:40 PM #159:	I hadn't played a non-Heroes Fire Emblem game in over a year, so I randomly decided to play Sacred Stones again. It was actually kind of tough getting back into the swing of things again after only playing Heroes for so long. I had so many times where I thought a unit was safe but I forgot how many spaces the enemy could move and my character got hit anyways. Haven't suffered any defeats or losses yet, although Neimi came very, very close at one point. I decided to do a "harem protagonist" run through the game, only using Ephraim and female characters to battle the enemies. I might get it on that, or on the Switch if I can get my hands on a new Micro SD card soon. I downloaded the demo of the game on both systems already but haven't tried it out yet. Doesn't show enough for me to get a feel of the gameplay (pretty sure it covers the first few cutscenes of the full game) but I'd say it's just a relatively simple action combat system. Not as combo intensive as Tales, so to speak. I like the soundtrack though. And I actually like Tony Taka's art style quite a bit. The gameplay is good (I'm guessing it'll be more fun in the full game once I can get new characters and skills) and the character designs are cool, especially the girls. I didn't like it so much that I want to instantly buy it digitally, but I might go to Gamestop soon to trade in a few games (I got bored of BBTag pretty quick) and put them towards a cheaper physical copy.
