I guess we're pretty close compared to what I'm seeing here. My dad lives a bit far from me right now so I haven't seen him since April, though I'll likely see him at least by September, if not sooner. Biodad was and is mostly absent, stepdad is a raging psychopath (like "Obama is secretly an al Qaeda plant" levels of crazy) in addition to being abusive and my mom just sort of goes along with whatever nonsense he comes up with. They're all kinda racist too, but not as bad as some of the extended family on my mom's side.
