1) Why is the tracker alive?

2) Corrik spent an entire day trying to lynch a claimed tracker who had caught scum. Does this make Corrik scum? It's Corrik, so I just cannot tell.

It has been many years since I have felt the pressure of a high stakes day on board 8 and in my zeal and in my earnest belief that I was pursuing things I got out of hand mixed in with some real life things. I will reign it in today!

Anyway beginning on day 2 because Day 1 I feel like I mostly went over even with Leo's stuff, but I may re-examine.

I believe the only way Mzero is scum is if Dels is scum as well. Dels was clearly going to have a bad day yesterday before that went down. There are no worlds in my eyes where Mzero is scum and Dels is town because why bus Leo that day? Which, of course, will suit Dels just fine despite the fact that he voted for his town read over the guy he was trying to sheep. And I get the argument, I made him feel emotions so he decided to do random things.

Dels, fine, olive branch accepted. But if after re-reading things I think you are scum I will vote for you and make the case with as much accuracy and calmness as possible. Nothing I say about your alignment will be personal. Nothing I say about your alignment will be emotional. If I PoE you, I PoE you. I hope you can accept this regardless of your alignment, Dels. I am sorry I roughed you up day 4, but I don't need to continue my bad habits for more than a day. I am an adult, I can halt myself and change direction, and so I will. So I decided to unclear dowolf because... honestly, no harm in doing so. In paranoid world # 3 Dels is scum and Dowolf was so insistent on Leo yesterday because he knew Leo was going to be doomed and went hard to cement his town status with only one 'free' mislynch available to us. Not super paranoid about this but there's no harm in everyone reviewing dowolf since he himself is confused about his town confirmed status!

So now we get into some interesting talk here, because that is two players where I have said they can only possibly by scum if Dels is scum whereas before I talked about unaligned pairs possibly clearing people, aligned pairs can condemn someone and in that metric Dels is looking shaky.

So moving on from those 3 we have these names now:

Now Corrik is either playing the worst game of his town life or is scum. I don't mean that in a leaning way, I just think that's the truth here. Leo is town why are you so bad Chris is yet another mark against him. All air balls. I think Corrik is town based off of Leo interactions though, but this isn't a bulletproof case for me or anything. But that's my lean.

...But here's the thing. Corrik's post, which he claims is fake:

Occurs 58 seconds into day. 58 seconds for Corrik to open the topic (which he likely didn't do within 0-4 seconds given no pings and the topic was up early compared to when we thought it would be up) to look at 3 different kills (and to me would look like FD hid behind someone killed/scum, scare killed the jinjo to being a jinjo hunter, and then scum killed scare the sk) and to decide to say oh yeah Zach killed scare, he didn't use his cop or anything... and then for it to turn out to be entirely accurate.

I have problems with this. I want you guys to think about the game for 58 seconds. Now think about the fact that it takes time to open the topic. Time to read the topic. Time to type up a message, even if it is a short one.

5 seconds to open the topic, and that is being generous given the second player didn't see the topic for a whole 5 minutes after Corrik did. But 5 seconds, just for argument.

5 seconds to read the kills.
5 seeonds to type up a quick post and to submit it.

Meaning that for Corrik to have thought of this fake claim that turned out to be ACCURATE he had at MOST, and this is really stretching it, 43 seconds of thought time when most people seemed quite confused that Zach didn't simply scan someone.

Also, and this is a bit of a jab, this will be the only time Corrik has been proven correct this entire game. The time he faked information.

You may be thinking I am building a scum case against Corrik. I am not. I am building a 'Corrik lied day 4 about being a vanilla because his night 3 action sucked so he decided to say fuck it in the hopes of living longer as town power and surprising scum with information day 5...hopefully. Corrik's mannerisms this game would impress me if he were scum upon re-reading several times. Now mind you Corrik himself says he plays the same as both alignments, and if this is true and he is like me where results are the best indicator of alignment then he can still be scum. But I lean town for now.

Something I hadn't considered before: our jinjo that died night 1 could have very well have doctored the kill or blocked the scum sending it in. That may be information we don't have that makes night 1 more clear for town.

You know, Dels is helpful. I cleared Shad because day 4 Corrik was hinting that Eaed HAD to be scum. But, with that scan revoked my observation that I cleared Shad from being scumbuddies with eaed and scumbuddies with Corrik holds no meaning. If those are both town there is no reason to believe Shaduln has to be town anymore. Thank you, Dels-kun.

It's hard to talk about Chris without bringing in personal things. That said, they are so intertwined in the game now it is hard not to.

My worry with Chris is that the lack of respect for me, and the ignoring me, could be an act used to dismiss me and keep me as an easy scum read. It's hard to say how much of it is "my feelings are hurt" vs actual read, but don't you kind of think, if Chris values my play so much, that he would dismiss me as scum from one reaction test and then not answer any posts I direct at him all day?

Because I did keep asking him for his read on Shad, his PoE, his updated thoughts on death, etc, and he never answered, or had much to say to me at all until that shit near the end of the day.

My current thought? Chris is town. But I'm at least wary of the possibility of him being scum. Anyone else have ideas here?
