No, I won't. Because this is a stupid, shitty game about deception where the whole point of one faction is to trick the other into trusting them. And because you've literally just shown your idea of making a deal is to word things with plausible deniability so you can pretend to be upholding it while really being very careful to make sure you don't.

i do not know. i am town right now. when i am scum, perhaps i will say similar things, but in those cases i bet there'll be more clear gaps and other issues with my play and you can find those. i don't think you can find them here. and as scum I will lie about anything and everything, but if I make a deal about specific actions i.e. "i will vote this way. i will use my action like that. i will make a case for X or Y." then I will uphold those too!

you can call it anti-town but i play to win and i've explained why sticking to my word is a positive. and also, remember, I believed mzero was town and leo was scum and that no one would ever suspect i was trying to save leo by pushing an mzero lynch. I didn't know he'd be revealed to be scum and that all of this would look awful for me. if I KNEW he was scum, then my vote would be a lot worse, and yes, arguably anti-town. I thought he was town and that i'd be obviously town because no scum would do this. that's why I started this all off by saying exactly that - that I know the alliance means a LOT more now.

but yes, correctly townreading me means trying to understand my point of view, which you do not seem to be doing. it is hard to accept new ideas perhaps, I know. But continuing to think that my PoV is stupid means you will never be able to believe that a townie has it. So my advice to you if you want to win the game is to try and consider that maybe I really am a person who believes this.

I know we're playing a game of lying, I am fine if you think it is a lie. Just saying, in order to win, you must see it as the truth, and I must convince you of it.

I will be nice and say that the idea in itself is an admirable concept.
(Though if Leo was town he'd have thick enough skin anyway)

If mzero is scum though then suddenly there becomes a very very clear reason why I would do it as scum

with mzero town i get nothing except wifom and looking awful (and hoping looking awful = looking good)

with mzero scum then, as scum, my vote could help bring about a very real chance that mzero gets lynched and leo or I win the game
