I haven't watched any of what's happened since the episode but it does sound consistent with her attitude in the past. She's always looking for a reason outside of herself to blame for her poor position in the game. It's like when she complained to Kaitlyn for siding against Swaggy that "I don't talk to anyone on the other side of the house like you do!!" as a reason why Kaitlyn is screwing her over by working with the other side. Except... you could just try talking to the other side Rockstar. Go talk to Rachel. She'll talk with you back. I promise.

But unfortunately Rachel is one cool kids so that means Rockstar can't be friends with her.

For the season 38 stuff:

That sounds awful but if they don't give it too much screen time and if there isn't an Ozzy ther then I really don't think it is going to resort to that much. On top of that, with the new jury format 15 people on the jury really isn't going to slow down the episode that much. It just means that the people on the jury or going to have much less interaction with the people playing the actual game and that's what I don't like.

It's bad but there has been this longing for some reason of people (casuals) wanting them to have to actually "survive" and I think this idea brings them that. I keep saying in my head, oh well it could get worse but really the true worst case scenario is if those characters steal 10 minutes of our show every week.

this season 38 stuff is kinda interesting

I feel like it will result in a sad ending for a lot of players. I can't imagine anybody will say no to a second chance so every player will go to Extinction Island. So a few things will happen. They will give a bit too much food so it's not that hard and *everyone* sticks around, which sounds like a bit of a failure of a concept. Or they give barely any food and things become quite desperate for everyone, as people eventually start "dying off" due to hunger and quitting. If the intention is to have most players quit because of this,then those players will always have that disappointment that they gave up. They didn't lose the game by getting outplayed at a competition or were socially voted out - they just didn't have the fortitude to keep going and quit. That's pretty sad for those players... because it's not really true.

according to the article, once you make it to postmerge you are in the jury no matter when you give up on EI. That's the recent update Peridiam is talking about.

Let's be clear, I never said Brett was a bully, I said he was a boring douchbag.

That being said, it is very telling that he is only socializing with the pretty, popular people, and that he is choosing to be especially harsh on the eccentrics/outcasts, borderline threatening Scottie, and then trying to scapegoat Rockstar, the weirdo of FOUTTE, instead of Bayleigh, who the other alliance has already had issues with, Haleigh, who has already been under suspicion of flipping before, or Faysal, who could beat him up.

Falls in line with his intro where he labels his coworkers as nerds who he would never socialize with despite never even giving them a chance.
